I was delighted by the responsiveness, professionalism, quality and excellent service provided by the team at Wellesley Plumbing & Heating. We had an urgent need during an extreme cold snap to replace an old furnace located in a difficult space in a small apartment. They sent someone to look at the furnace the same day we called, the team then quickly assessed the situation, and was on site within a few days replacing the furnace and also repairing some problems with the hot water heater that they noticed while working on the furnace. I was particularly impressed at the responsiveness of Matt Lynch, who coordinated the work, answered questions and kept me informed on the status of the work by phone and email every day. I highly recommend Wellesley Plumbing & Heating.

I have used their service couple times. They are very responsive, there was one time that my tenant had a furnace emergency right before a winter storm, no heating at all. I called them early in the morning and they get it fixed by noon. I’ve called many contractors the night before but none of them even give me callback. Highly recommend!

Matt at Wellesley Plumbing & Heating was great to work with in getting all new furnace and adding Central Air to our house! Matt was always responsive, met the expectations of the work being started and completed. I also appreciate Matt in helping us understand what the best system options were for us and where certain items were more than we needed even though other places had given us quotes for these additional system add-ons. The workers who came to our house were very great as well. the extra attention to detail was great.

We always call Wellesley Plumbing for our emergency situations and they are quick to respond and resolve the issue. In January our 20+ year old boiler (which Wellesley Plumbing had fixed over and over again) finally died. I reached out to multiple companies for quotes assuming that Wellesley Plumbing would have the typical Wellesley mark up. They came to give a quote and brought space heaters. Then they explained my options clearly and in layman’s terms. When they submitted their quote it was the least expensive and they were able to replace the boiler within 2 days. I was so pleased and surprised. Bob, Matt and Brian are fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wellesley Plumbing.

Well I tried to use them as they are local. Impossible to get information. Called, emailed, web site chat. Difficult at best. Finally got information on price for a simple repair and told them to go ahead. Never hear from them again. After many weeks, I had to call and cancel. Suggest moving on. It seems like success here is doubtful.

They charge $553.18 for replace pilot power generator.
It is taken within 15 minutes.

Avoid this provider. They treat their customers badly once they get your money. Avoid especially if you need important big ticket items done such as a heating system install etc.

After paying the Wellesley Plumbing and Heating 14k for the new heating system installation, I accidentally realized the HEATING SYSTEM INSTALL WAS DONE WITHOUT FILING ANY PERMITS as required by the Massachusetts law.

I called them 6 times to get the proper permits filed over the course of the ensuing two months and conduct the required inspection by the town--but got only empty promises from the Wellesley Plumbing and Heating.

No permits filed for 5 months after the install even though the permit filing is an online process in our town and doesn't even require them to get out of their office chair!

In the end the town inspectors had to contact the Wellesley Plumbing and Heating and demand that they file permits--which they did only after the town has stepped in.

I would recommend avoiding this provider especially for large ticket items. They are happy to take your money but will treat customers badly once they got paid.

Had a few plumbing issues at my house- leak in a pipe and hot water valve issue. Wellesley Plumbing was fantastic- quick turnaround and good value. Highly recommend!

We have used the services of Wellesley Plumbing & Heating for the last 30 years, and they have never let us down. They have installed our furnace, air conditioner, attick fan, and more recently a new gas fireplace, and all were done very professionally. They have also been very quick to respond to emergency repairs, as well as annual maintenance of our furnace, etc.

Recently my garden club needed help with a special key to an outside faucet, and Matt and Derek helped us quickly and cheerfully donating their time and supplies.
