High Efficiency

I have put off writing this review for over a year in hopes that my troubles could be handled internally with High Efficancy- but I continue to have problems with them without resolution so I hope that this will deter others from using this company as the owners lack of professionalism is astounding. High Efficancy was hired well over a year ago to install both a mini split system and replace my heat and hot water boiler. I will say the mini split system was installed without issue. The problem was with the heat and hot water boiler. Prior to the gas line being run from the street the crew had arrived to start prep work- which seemed appropriate- the problem was they removed my entire heating and hot water system as prep! I returned home that day- in November- to find no heat and hot water. When I contacted the owner he initially said there was nothing he could do and blamed the gas company for not arriving on their estimated arrival date. When questioned why a crew would remove an entire heating system without an installed gas line- he did not have an answer and then blamed his office staff for scheduling the prep work too early. I was informed by the gas company that the line would be at least 2 weeks before it could be installed which was relayed to High Efficancy at which point they brought 2 small space heaters as a solution to heat my entire home. When asked about the hot water their reply was “Well we’ve all taken cold showers…I could put in a temporary heater but I will have to charge you $600 for the work”. 12 days of cold showers and little heat the line was finally run and the system completed. I’ll spare you the fight the ensued in order to try to get some compensation in the form of a bill reduction that still ended being unfair. Now almost 2 years later I receive a call from the town saying the gas, plumping and electrical inspections for the project were never completed! When High Efficancy was asked why they weren’t done when I was told they were- there was no answer. So not only was my heating and hot water removed from my house 12 days early in November- now I have been living with a gas system that was un inspected and possibly not safe. Please do yourself a favor and use a reputable company in town and not High Efficancy.

- Thanks for checking in- as reported to the owner the temporary hot water system that was installed after refusal to pay for the correct fix for hot water was not operational. They did decrease the final bill only came after months of fighting with the owner and finally reporting seeking legal action. As for the system operations - it was not bled through properly and had several leaking valves that needed replacement

This company is impressive and amazing. I use them at work (hotel) and for my house. They installed a split in my house within 1 month this year, these are the days when everything takes forever but not with them. They even set up the financing and took care of everything for us. All we had to do was walk into the bank. They are super honest, straight forward and professional. I highly recommend them! 👌

Very pleased with the High Efficiency Team. Steve gave us options for installing 3 Mitsubishi units. The installation team finished in two days. They were clean and efficient. The office staff took care of our paperwork including filing of rebates to Mass Save. I would/and already have, recommend them. I believe they are a reputable company.

The people who work at High Efficiency were so helpful and competent with the long process of setting us up to have a wonderful gas insert fireplace in time for the Christmas holidays. There were many phone calls and both the office staff and the technicians were excellent. They even came after hours to insure that we had the connection to our new gas dryer. I will always call them first for any service needed.

I am a general contractor and I rely heavily on the entire team at High Efficiency. They consistently deliver great service and value for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs. From complex installations to run of the mill maintenance their team of office staff, managers and field technicians never let us down. Thanks for all you do!

This was our one year anniversary maintenance session for our new High Efficiency furnace that HE installed for us last year. Everything that this company has told us during the sale and now the follow up maintenance performance is exactly TRUE! We just got our first year energy savings report and BINGO we have reduced our natural gas usage by 38 percent. Now there is a truth! This first service was included at no charge to us and the technician, Craig, still spent two hours performing the necessary maintenance to keep our furnace working at peak efficiency. Having retired from the military after 32 years it is most refreshing to find a young energetic company like High Efficiency that has an outstanding work ethic. Every employee we have dealt with is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about their products and services. Its hard to see a smile on their face by telephone but you can tell by attitude that these folks like their jobs and THEY CARE. I highly recommend High Efficiency for your future upgrades to your old heating systems. You will save a lot of money and the work done is professional.

It's not often enough that a homeowner can say that they have had the pleasure of needing services and being delighted by the contractor. However that is exactly the case with the 3 different projects that I have completed with the team from High Efficiency! I needed plumbing services - including gas, HVAC ductless installation and both a energy audit, and subsequent insulation installation throughout a 2200 square foot 3 level house. On several occasions each of these projects, I had to interact with the office staff as well as 3 different teams of experts for each specific application . With every interaction with every member of the team, the experience was courteous, competent and efficient. The office staff is knowledgeable, able to connect with the field team if needed, and get the answers quickly providing solutions and respecting the homeowner's time.
Each of the teams that performed the services at our home, arrived on time, were friendly, courteous and got right to work. Their workmanship was top notch, and left us feeling that we received great value for the money. I wholeheartedly recommend using High Efficiency or Cape Cod Energy Solutions whenever you are in need of plumbing, HVAC or insulation work. They are problem-solvers, and do it in the most delightful way.

A positive experience from initial consultation to install. The installation team were prompt, friendly, courteous and neat. They were really top notch!
The operation of the unit was explained and demonstrated in detail. Highly recommend.

Employees were polite and efficient both on the job and in the office. Showed up on time, completed service when they said they would and followed up with us to make sure the job was to our satisfaction. Worked with us with our budget and came in right where we needed it to be.
