Sensible Heat

Mike is excellent - he’s taken care of my oil burner for many years - and also installed my new water heater a couple years ago. Mike is expert - he shows me the problems, provides guidance and fixes the problems while educating me on the heating system. Mike is honest, reasonable and practical.
I highly recommend!

Mike has been doing service on my oil system for the past year and is the absolute best. I have a newborn and anytime he comes he calls instead of ringing the doorbell to ensure he doesnt wake the baby. Not only is he very reasonably priced, his work is clean, and he is always responsive to texts and calls for any question I may have.

They did an excellent job installing my new oil burner. They job itself was done extremely well. The install is very clean and they respected my house as well.

Mike took his time to answer all of my questions. He wasn't pushing a particular brand or even type of heating system If you want someone to discuss pros and cons and ultimately, won't push you, these are the guys.

The heating system in my recently purchased home was throwing an odd odor. My local oil companies suggested a band aid repair that did not work . I decided to get 3rd opinion and Mike found there was a large hole in the burn chamber filling my home with fumes. I received multiple quotes to replace the entire system, but Mike was the only one to address the real reason the heating system failed in the first place was improperly sized duct work. The price to replace the furnace was so much better then the two major oil companies I had look at the system that I had him update the ac at the same time. We ran into some issues processing a mass save rebate and Mike helped us get them what they requested which got us a nice chuck of change back from them. The work was quick and clean and the system works GREAT!!

We were having family and friends over for Christmas Eve and just my luck we had no heat. We called Sensible Heat on a whim not expecting them to answer on Christmas Eve and sure enough Mike picked up and was en route to our house within an hour. Mike realized the issue was the blower motor was not working and was able to replace and get the heat working before our company arrived!! Could not be happier and would highly recommend Mike and Sensible Heat!

Michael came to my home the same day I called about a leaky oil tank and he put a temporary fix on it until the new tank he recommended came in . It's called a Roth tank and is a major upgrade to my home . He re-located the new tank into the corner of my garage where it is completely out of the way freeing up all kinds of new space for my summer car . This was all done at a very reasonable price in a timely manner .

Excellent work and very responsive. We had AC that was not working during extreme heat and Mike came right away and fixed it. In middle of January, our 2nd floor heat just gave up and again, I called them and they were able to come the same day. These guys are some of the best in HVAC work.

Mike is a great guy. Knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. We would know, we have had to call him more than a few times for our old heating system that always seems to give us trouble. Would recommend over and over!! 👍🏼👍🏼

Sensible heat has been great. They have serviced my oil boiler and installed a Mitsubishi ductless HVAC system in my home. Very professional, knowledgeable, and doesn’t try to sell you something you don’t need. I recommend them to my friends and family.

We have had a problem with our kitchen sink for years. Mike diagnosed the problem and fixed it. In fact, he fixed two problems, both a leak and the chronic drainage issue. I feel like it was money well spent.
