Rocky HVAC

The technicians from Rocky HVAC showed up early, on an emergency call on a Sunday no less, provided complete service, and helped us get our system back up and running. Will definitely keep them in mind for future HVAC needs.

Well happened to be the hottest day of the year thus far, and oh course never fails AC goes out. Now this happens to be my fiancé parents house (both over the hill) we were also visiting with both our young children (one of which has pretty severe asthma as well). Noticed the house had got warm throughout the day. After asking the in laws the had signed up "with something" from BGE and it turns the AC off on hot days. After not being able to take it anymore left with the kids and hit the pool. After researching "The BGE" thing found that by 7 the AC would be back on regardless of what/ how they signed up. Played it safe and showed up after 8 to a house that was now 87deg. After some quick diagnosis myself found the condenser fan not working (with a noticeable electrical burning smell. I work on cars now that smell well) After multiple phone calls to the "Big" companies the soonest we could be seen was Sunday. After a quick Google search came across Rocky's. After a quick look at the reviews (all 5 star what I read) gave him a call. He even answered the phone quick. Found out he was like a block over said he'd be here in 10min. 3 min later knock at the door. Quick journey to the back yard ripped off the side panel. (after telling him what I had smelled/ noticed) Found the capacitor had failed. Whipped and new one in, clean the coil, and we were ready to go. The longest part was the 5min wait for the BGE box to reset. Took a quick look over pressures etc. And we were up and running. Total time spent inc. the phone call was like 45min. I would recommend him to any/ everyone esp. around the Fort Meade Area. Fantastic work, and would give 10stars if possible. Price was less then I had ball parked even.

He did ok. I needed 3 lbs of Freon.
He wanted $750.00. I countered with $500.00. He said $550.00. I said ok.

Called for service after-hours and tech was at my place in 20 minutes. Great service and got the job done right the first time! Definitely recommend Rocky HVAC.

Came out at 20:00 on a weekend. (was supposed to be there at 8:00, but sometimes you can't help having other customers). Confirmed that our unit probably wouldn't go much longer. But also got it going well enough to limp along until we can do that.

We had 3 companies tell us our compressor is dead and/or we needed to replace our entire system. A service tech from Rocky’s (Love) had our system back up and running in less than an hour thus saving us THOUSANDS!!!

The day before a 9 day heat wave hit, my AC went out. I called Rocky HVAC and an hour later, had a technician working on it. An hour later, it was back up and running without breaking the bank! Thanks!

Called at 8:30 in the morning and by 11:30 they had me up and running. They were professional, fast, and courteous, price reasonable and skilled. I honestly can’t wait to do service with them again, but let’s hope that won’t be any time soon.

Called this company on Friday afternoon for what I thought could be a replacement of my AC! They were able to fix the problem that same evening and no replacement needed for now! They kept me informed at all times since this is a rental unit and I was hours away Thank you very much🙏🏽

Got same day service for reasonable price. Technician diagnosed problem very quickly and had my AC working in 20 minutes.
