I used of climate Masters as a part of my home warranty policy. I called them on Thursday morning after I received their information from my home insurance company. They stated that they could have me seen between 2 PM and 6 PM, they said they would call before they arrived. The company never called, and showed up with my wife had left the house for a brief period of time. When they called my wife stated that she would have someone there in five minutes to open the door if they could please wait. The technician said sure he would wait, and then subsequently left.

When I called back to reschedule they stated that my wife took too long, however my camera showed that they did not wait even two minutes from hanging up the phone before they left. They stated that they could possibly have someone come out and see me that evening between 6 PM and 8 PM, and they said they will call me back and let me know. They never called, but they said if they did not come out the night they were come out the following day between 12 PM and 4 PM. I had to rearrange the schedule, rearrange a flight, and sit in the house from 12 PM until 4 PM only to have no technician show up.

I called my home insurance company, because the company does not answer the phone and my home insurance company stated that the technician was in route I waited an additional two hours, and called the company again and again and finally called my home insurance company who then got in touch with the after hours number where they stated they were getting frustrated because of the number of calls from generate it from this address. I stated that if they had shown up between 12 PM and 4 PM as they stated then they would not be getting a bunch of calls about this address. I finally spoke with the technician he stated that there must’ve been a miscommunication, because he had me on the schedule from 2 PM until 8 PM that day, not 12 to 4.

He scheduled and came out the next day diagnosed the problem and stated that he had to order parts. I waited until Monday I had not heard from the company, attempted to call them and find out the status of my work order and no one answered it is now been seven days, with no heat, and the company has only answered the phone call on Thursday of the previous week.

The number that you call, is a cell phone which states to text that number leave a voicemail and they will call you back. They Have not called me back a single time. Very disappointing.

They were sent through my home warranty, we are having the same issue this year that they “fixed” last year. Water was leaking into our furnace and ruined the motor, they said we needed a pump installed into our furnace when in reality we needed a small piece of pvc pipe installed on our roof vent. Took them a month to get the part and now we are still having the issue all over again. It was a simple fix that is now an even bigger issue. HOW DO YOU MISS THAT?! I would rather pay outside of our warranty than have them come again.

I had an absolutely awful experience with Climate Masters. They came out at least four times unable to solve the problem but each time convinced they had. They were regularly late for their arrival window. I requested for a change in provider by AHS and was denied so I cancelled my warranty so I can finally find resolution of my HVAC issue. I have since had the issue solved by another company who immediately identified an electrical problem. They were stunned at the patch work done by climate masters. They even noted that our defrost board was unnecessarily changed with an older one that they had “never seen before.” It was a horrible experience. I was an AHS customer with my current house for 3 years and my previous house for over 5. I am so disappointed. I’m only giving one star because they guys who did the work were nice.

I scheduled our annual spring AC tune-up via AHS (American Home Shield) for our zoned HVAC system (2 AC units - not a heat pump) which arranged via their Pro-connect service Climate Masters, LLC. The technician, Shermaine showed up on Monday afternoon at 3:45pm and left at 4pm stating that everything was complete. I literally had to run out the door to his van in the driveway as he was already pulling out to leave. I stopped him and asked if he was done. He said the service was complete and everything was fine. I asked what exactly he did as we have 2 units and he spent about 5 minutes on the phone on my back deck not performing any work (I have video camera's outside and inside which caught the entire visit). He stated I would get an email with all the details. He said he checked pressures, freon, cleaned air filters etc.. When I asked him to come inside and show me exactly what he did he said he couldn't and had to leave. After he left I checked our units which had not been touched at all. I paid $150 ($75 per AC unit) for work which was not performed. I went thru AHS to schedule another AC tune-up with another company. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I may even contact the BBB as I was ripped off the $150 or $10/min he was here.

Climate masters is the worst HVAC company to hire. Both CJ and Shamaine Elmore are liars regarding times of appointments, they don’t show up nor do they call to let you know they will not be coming, no communication. There service is so Horrible I had to cancel that service contract and went with another HVAC .company.. I will never recommend this company to anyone

First I’d like to say I think this company is highly under appreciated. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people who believe they deserve instant gratification and things get done right away because of a warranty but in fact things move a little slower through a warranty, kinda like insurance. Anyways, the tech that came out and diagnosed the problem was very knowledgeable and identified the problem quickly and had the part ordered up the next day. My AC went up on a Thursday afternoon and they were available to check it out Friday! The part came in about 2 weeks later (thanks covid) and they scheduled the next day it came in. They were very timely when it came down to them doing there part of the service. The tech who did the repair was also knowledgeable in the field, however there was a slight miscommunication with pricing on the cooling agent. The worker called the company and the price was honored that they quoted for the agent in the first visit. Overall wonderful service, give them a shot, HVAC is a tough trade and these smaller companies deserve more credit!

I put a claim in through my home warranty and Climate Masters came out. The repair window was from 12-6 and the tech came out around 3:45. He quickly diagnosed and solved the issue.

They fit us into their full schedule same day since our heat was out. They were responsive and professional throughout the process. The techs were awesome and fixed several issues to get our heat operating again. Highly recommend Climate Masters!

Put a new motor in for 1/3 of the price of what Blue dot quoted. Blue dot also recommended the entire system be replaced while this company noted our system will probably run for five more years. Customer service was professional. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment with this company for today from 1pm to 7pm. I called their number to see if I can get some type of estimate on when the technician would get here and they gave me his personal number. I called and texted the guy just to see if I can get an estimate on the time he would arrive and I have been waiting hours just for a return phone call which I think is extremely unprofessional. I called the office number again to voice my concern and I couldn't get ahold of them. The technician guy ended up getting to my house at about 4:30pm and answered all my questions. I just wish this company as a whole was more professional
