The people who answer the phones WILL NOT let you speak to anyone in management.. tell you that a "customer resolution" form has to be sent in and someone from management will call in 24-48 hours... it's been over 2 weeks now... been a customer since early 90's and purchased 3 units and had them installed... never an issue until now.. they're customer service or lack there of has ruined 30+ years

I signed up for their maintenance plan and scheduled a service call for the next day. The rep gave me a 5 hour window (12-5pm) which was unusually long comparing to other service providers. She also did not tell me that I was supposed to answer the phone otherwise the appointment would get canceled. I called at the top of the window to get a better sense of the timing and was told that I was next. 30 minutes later I received a few calls while I was on a work call and the number showed as spam. Needless to say that I did not answer the phone. When I checked my message 15 minutes later, I realized that it was the technician and called back. I was then told that my technician got assigned to another job because I did not answer the phone. Then I was told that I got reassigned another technician who was in my area and I would be the next job he had. Two hours later, the technician still has not called. Everytime when I called to ask about it, I was told rudely that I was next and to wait until 5pm, and there was nothing they could do. I have owned many homes and have never had this kind of unhelpful service providers.

Said they'd send a,tech.
Then tech called and said he was at another call and wouldn't make it . Then office called and said they don't do electrical problems for on call service. . Worked for Comcast for 22 years never called a customer saying I wouldn't make it but I DID call and said I'd be late

I have a prepaid HVAC service plan for our vacation home in Ocean City, Maryland with Service Today (They bought out the HVAC company I had used). I scheduled weeks in advance a first appointment service call on a Monday because this is our vacation home and I drive 5 hours to the location. The Friday afternoon before the appointment I receive a call from Service Today saying they can't honor my appointment because they have now subsequently decided to schedule an internal service tech meeting. They literally acknowledged they bumped their paying customers to make things internally easier for them for a meeting. My appointment had to be cancelled because the plans I made weeks in advance with them they chose not to honor. Be careful scheduling with them as this experience shows they don't necessarily honor what they say they will do.

I was very impressed with Miles the technician. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained to me everything he had done on our spring maintenance. He by far was the best tech I ever had.
Also very pleased with the service from Service today. Update. The last maintance I had was horrible. Wrong diagnosis. Quoted over 500 dollars to replace a 50 dollar board that wasn't bad. Would not recommend them to

They charged 1100.00 to run a 2" PVC drain pipe 8' under a crawl space for a washer. It didn't line up to the hole in the floor, they forced the pipe over to the hole and shoved the washer drain hose through the floor into the pipe. In the process they also broke the main pipe where the sink tied in and fixed it by replacing the sink drain with a smaller pipe and just stuck in in the hole in the main pipe that they broke. They refused to even talk to me to let alone own up to it. What a scam.

.i have had a contract with this company for many years, and I find the same problem over and over again. I have two properties under contract with Service Today. I have them done the same day and sequentially. I do this because I shut down my business to be present during their call. I called the day before the scheduled date to confirm the service time, and I was told I would be the first and second calls starting around 8:30 AM. I arrived early just in case they did. I waited and waited until 9 AM. Still no service. I then called. I was told that they were in a meeting and would be here soon. The also said that the first call timing is always 8:30 to 9:30! I had not been told that when the service was scheduled.
At 10 AM, still no service! Called again. Oh!, the meeting is running a little longer.than usual. I asked why they didn't at least call me and let me know they would be late. "We don'g do that" was the answer.
After another call at 10:30, where they said no one should have told me 8:30, they said the service man is definitely on the way. He arrived at 11:35 AM.
I am reconsidering signing a contract for next season.
