My 85 year old grandfather has had a service agreement(maintenance contract) with this company since they installed the unit 7 or so years ago. He has kept this service agreement with them since. In early April grandpa didn't have heat one night. I came by and confirmed the outdoor unit was not running at all(heat pump). Called service today to schedule trouble call. CSR who took that call conveniently scheduled the trouble call(same day service) as well as the Pre-paid maintenance (PPM) for early May(next available). Tech shows up same day, charges dispatch fee and resets the system, tells my grandfather he will return in a week to investigate further.
I asked my grandfather if the company came and performed his PPM. He told me the company called him and told him that the tech performed the PPM while he was out there. I will attach 3 pictures that will show a unit that has not been cleaned. Make your own judgement before buying a maintenance contract with this company, but I guess I have to go clean his unit myself.

Complete extortionist.
They sell you their service plan for $215 and then they try to line you up with contractors in the area and then the contractors charge you anywhere from 6 to 8 times the premium charges.

Quoted me $600 to $800 for a service call.

Contacted local plumber myself, fixed for $150.

I requested a cancellation and return on my charges the same day a week later they have no record however $250 charge still stands on my charge card.

Customer service awful!

Just call your local contractor!

Only problem was I wasn’t aware that you had to receive the phone call in order for the appointment to be kept. I was in the shower and was unable to answer my phone, but had been waiting for the appointment. Clients need to be aware that the phone call from the technician must be answered. Otherwise, he will not come out to your home. Very important for that communication to take place.
