I would have chosen 4 1/2 stars if I could have figured out how. The Trane HVAC system is very quiet and has excellent cooling abilities. CON, very expensive! The installers did a great job. Very polite & courteous explaining info as they went. The air handler closet was very small and made installation tough, but Mike & Drake made it happen. Once finished, everything looked nice & neat!
Good job Mike & Drakeđź‘Ť.
My thank’s to Brett Broussard, Butcher AC sales! Guess one would say “The man behind the plan”.

To Whom it May Concern,

My name is James Clemons. I live at 202 Robinhood Circle, and I recently received service from Butcher Air Conditioning on 6/21/2022. The technician that provided the service was Mr. John Stout. The purpose of this letter is to provide a strong recommendation for Mr. Stout’s service that day.

I purchased my AC unit from another company but have had cooling concerns with it for a number of years that were never fully resolved. The company that sold me the unit even tried to sell me a new system several years ago. The initial appraisal by Mr. Stout found that the freon levels were adequate and there did not appear to be a capacitor problem. When I began to explain to him that I had a thermostat that indicated a 2-stage system was being activated and at that point, air flow as well as cooling diminished. Even though Mr. Stout was not immediately familiar with this type of system, he took home the manuals, returned the next day, diagnosed the problem and we have not had any problems since. Our system is cooling effectively. It’s not very often that someone will go to that extent to solve a problem.

Mr. Stout clearly takes pride in his work and was diligent about solving the problem and not just leaving it for someone else to solve, an aggravating circumstance that occurred numerous times over too many years past to count with another provider. You are fortunate to have dedicated employees that take pride in their jobs.

My 93 yr old neighbors, 1 yr old Trane AC blew a coil yesterday. Called for technician to come out. Was told couldn't do anything because wait on part is 3 weeks....3 weeks for a 92 year old widow who lives alone and whose children live out of state to go without an ac. Did not offer any window units or anything besides to pay more money and buy a new unit to replace a 1 yr old still under warranty. My neighbor has been a customer for 40 years and still didn't matter. No regard for her what so ever. The right thing to do would have been for them to write off the cost of the new unit to keep an old women comfortable in her home and keep a good customer. But, welcome to the new world. Such a bad message. I will never, ever buy anything from this company and will let my friends and family know how this was not handled properly.

Easter Sunday, one phone call and repairman is here in 30 minutes. That is service. I do have a maintenance agreement and that helped with no ot charges and discount on parts. The Tech was courteous and prompt and had to go to shop to get a new motor, but was back in a jif and had me cooling within a couple hours.

Butcher always has great service and very courteous service technicians. In this day and age where service is an outdated concept, they always please me with the techs and I am glad I use them.

Always professional day or night, weekdays or weekends. These guys have never let us down. Came out for 6 month service and found a slight problem with electronic filter system. Sill under warranty and replacement unit was in stock.
Thanks for keeping our system in the best condition possible.

They helped us solve the problems of the installation of our new system even though we did not purchase it through them. We worked with the original installer along with manufacture rep for over a year and they could not fix the problem and kept blaming it on this area, more rain than usual, older home (even though it had been completely remodeled), etc. etc. In addition, we bought the more expensive unit they had because of our supposed savings we would incur which never happened. When we contacted Butcher, they came out immediately and acknowledged that we had a problem. Their manager, Donald got involved and contacted the manufacturer and told us the two units were never tested together to see if they could communicate properly. Despite that, they figured out how to make it work properly without spending another fortune. We definitely learned our lesson, always go with the people who have been in the business forever! There is a reason they’re still in business!! We can’t thank you enough for your help!!!

This was the first time ever calling Butcher and I am so glad that I did! Within 10 minutes of requesting service, I had a technician on the way. Jazz showed up and immediately got to work figuring out why my ac wasn't blowing. Once he figured it out, he clearly explained the issue and how to fix it. We had cold air pumping in a little over an hour. He helped us get set up on a maintenence plan, too! Great experience and great tech!
