Wise Heating & Air Conditioning

We called Wise after having a few other quotes from other companies. Wise was straight forward when they visited and ended up being much more reasonable. We went with their quote and have been very happy with their service and installation. I'm going to be recommending them to anyone who needs a new HVAC or Furnace.

I am so happy with the quality of the install and the attention to detail from everyone at Wise I don't even know where to begin singing their praises.

The Quote Process:
Right from the start when Wise came in to look things over and give me a quote I was impressed. I dislike pushy sales people and Zachary Wise was far from that. He talked to me as a person, down to earth and in a language I understood. He works on what he sells. The family has been in the business for 38 + years, and Zachary understood what houses in the area were built to do, and what the house needed. Later on that day, I had a couple of questions after having a couple of other companies quote... I was able to call him and ask those questions and get straight forward answers. It didn't seem like I was burdening or bothersome to him.

Before then end of the day I had a Quote from the guys at Wise for prices on two different systems, sized to my house appropriately. Pricing on these was very attractive. So much so, I went to the Bryant website to look at other options for equipment (Wise is a Bryant dealer) and I ended up asking about a different system (a sizable upgrade) and they came back with a quote on that system pretty quick, that was awesome.

The Install Process:
I had been looking to replace the Heating and AC systems for some time, and had just started the process to get quotes when the AC went out. Wise came in on the Monday to quote and Tuesday night I signed the contract. Knowing how the weekend was going to heat up, the guys at Wise arranged their schedule so that they could come do the install that Friday before the hot weather hit on the Sunday/Holiday Monday.

When they showed up on Friday morning, 4 guys (pretty much the whole company I think) showed up and spent the whole day getting it all up and running. I think at one point I had all the Wise brothers (except one) as well as Randy Wise (who is a trip!) on this job.

The quality of the install is unsurpassed. They took all things into account and planned for things well. Noticing water in the backyard (drainage problem here) they decided to build a raised pad for the new AC so that it would never sit in water. Having high quality sheet metal boxes built locally to assist with the fit and finish of the product, to making sure the new wiring was tucked into place and out of the way. Nothing loose or out of place.

At the end Zachary (a perfectionist!) spent a good 10 minutes looking for an air whistle that I couldn't even hear...and made sure it was sealed up and good to go! Awesome!

Some companies are very sales oriented, not these guys... they are one of the most service oriented companies I have run across in the Louisville area! No dedicated sales people on commission. Through the whole process, I was treated as a person... never as a wallet. They understand you have to do what is best for your family!

Your HVAC system is an investment and the guys at Wise know this, they want you to get the most out of your investment. Based on what I know about the character of these people, they will be the only company I use for maintenance on the product they just installed.

Long review I know, and you can probably tell I am very happy with the product and the service. Need some work done? Looking at new systems... do yourself a favor...get a quote from Wise and meet the team. You won't be sorry that you did!

I have a 30 year old system and had others in the past try to scare me into buying an entirely new system at outrageous prices. Randy Wise shot me straight and told me I could get more years out of my current one. 3 years later and it still runs! We lost power a few nights ago and it kicked the blower off and the capacitor blew. Today, Jacob Wise was repairing my system within 2 hours of me calling them. He shot me straight and told me it only needed a new capacitor. Also said it was still running great and seemed like it still had some years left. I will never use another HVAC company. Wise is fair, truthful, and downright good people!

Jacob Wise recently diagnosed and fixed a problem with our A/C unit. He was thorough, professional, and knowledgeable and charged less than the competition. They will have all our future business.

Wise Heating and Cooling were fantastic and very professional. Randy Wise is most knowledgeable and honest in what you need and the best way to get things done. Wise was professional, thorough, and quick in getting our new Furnace installed so that we could get back into our home with our kids comfortably. We really appreciate Wise and will be using them in the future for all of our heating and cooling needs.

After my furnace froze during a period of arctic cold, this company exceeded all expectations for service, responsiveness and advocacy.

Starting with trying to repair my system, to ultimately installing a new system and then to providing information over and over again to the State Farm insurance adjuster who insisted on only reimbursing for repair costs (even though it would have taken over 90 days, leaving me with no heat, in the middle of winter) rather than for replacement costs.

I simply cannot recommend this company more highly! I would give 10 stars if I could.

I had Wise Heating install a new Bryant furnace when my old one no longer worked. I was so pleased with the service and professionalism they provided. The Wise team had my old system out and the new one working in a matter of hours. I have nothing but good things to say about Wise. They are the best! I will never use anyone else!

These guys were great! They were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. The owner (Randy) and one of the three sons (Jacob) came out to install a brand new heat pump. I felt the price was very reasonable and everything was explained to me clearly. I will be using them for my future HVAC needs.
