Northern Tool + Equipment

My family owns a home center, and maybe I have expectations in my head of how things should go, but I didn’t leave with the best feeling as a customer. We were overcharged for our item, which was remedied when I brought it to their attention, so no complaints there, but the gentleman who rolled our hand truck out to my vehicle walked right past me with it in the store to wait at the door. No acknowledgement of any kind. And when I greeted him to lead him outside, he never responded. Thinking that maybe he had some hearing difficulties, I spoke up, still with no response or reply. It wasn’t until we got the hand truck to my vehicle that he spoke to me or responded to my comments about getting the hand truck up in the truck bed. I know people have bad days, but it was very off-putting to be treated like that without cause. I may give them another try, but my initial knee-jerk response was to never go back. Maybe it doesn’t merit a two-star review, but when you’re in retail, I believe that it’s all about the customer experience, and for the most part, I did not have the best one.

Store lost it's best mechanic walked in with intentions of buying a pressure washer. The sales rep knew nothing about them could not get back out fast enough cashier at the front desk was very grumpy to boot!

Been in twice to order products, both times ended up walking out due to bad service. Close and lock doors and let worthless employees go home.

Whether I order online or just walk into the store the experience has always been top notch. As a Business owner & as an individual they care about you getting the service you need!

When we had an issue with a $1000 piece of equipment, Justin (manager) made sure it was taken care of right away. Great customer service, friendly people.

Extremely knowledgeable. Very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. Would tell everyone to go there. Wish there was a higher rate than a 5 star. Am definitely going back!

Worthless staff no help.Said they would restock inventory and call when it came in.Employees are rude depressed bad attitude never called.Wont be back better to order online and have it shipped.I forsee this store going out of buosness.

Very good experience I had a plasma cutter not big enough to do what I needed and they traded me for a bigger one no problem would recommend them to everyone

I have purchased from Northern tool a Generac generator down to Dewalt
tools and always 5 star happy with my purchases.
