Kaw Valley Heating and Cooling

I will definitely use these guy for any of my heating and cooling needs. They communicated great with me and had great tips and tricks to keep my running right.

I called their number after hours expecting to leave a message. The owner answered and I explained to him how my AC was not working properly. He was able to come over the very next day and found the issues while explain in great detail what was wrong. He was able to get the condenser and fix the issues the next day.

Very impressed with everything about this company. The owner David is a one of a kind business owner, he is easy to talk to and actually cares about his customers and will go out of his way to make sure you're getting the best customer service. Every employee that came to our house was very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for a better heating and cooling company!! Thsnk you guys so much!!

This company deserves a zero. My husband and I bought an A/C unit and 10 months (4 months of use) later it started leaking R22 freon. They came out to the house and confirmed the leak and then filled up the unit with 12 lbs of freon for it to just leak into the atmosphere a few days later.

We had one of their "specialists" come out and patch up the hole. Bob, the owner of this company, had this guy charge us $880 for fixing this leak. We refused to pay that amount and ended up paying about half to only have it spring another (bigger) leak 4 weeks later. Our unit holds 18 ridiculous pounds of freon so we leaked about 48 lbs of freon just from this unit in less than a year.

Also, Bob told us that he was going to replace the indoor coil to match the outside condensing unit for efficiency and to match government regulations. We had a different company out to assess the situation and found out that the coil was never replaced on top of buying a piece of crap unit He told us he would give us a 1 year warranty by mouth and never held true to his word. Instead the issue (leaking pipe on the outside unit) was a "manufacturing" fault and they would not own up to the warranty. This company is fraudulent and I would recommend any to stay away from them. We might as well have thrown $1,900 into the wind.

KVHC removed our large condenser so we could re-grade the ground where it sat on the side of our house. We did have a little miscommunication on when technicians would be on site though this wasn't a necessarily time sensitive job, my only (albeit) small ding.

Work was completed quick, the tech was obviously comfortable with the task at hand and our system has been working great for two months and had no issues keeping up with the lovely blast furnace we call home. New copper pipes installed look great, quality job and will definitely recommend KVHC to friends, family and we'll use them again.

This company is the perfect marriage of "hometown" service and professional customer service. I could communicate with my technician and dispatcher through phone, email or text and they were giving me constant updates on my service order. I'd recommend them to anyonr.

Our air conditioner had a loud noise inside, and so I had to turn it off, I called 5 other heating and cooling companies before Kaw valley and the day was a Friday, and no one was able to squeeze me in till next week, and it was going to be in upper 80s and 90s through the weekend, so then I called Kaw Valley and the lady told me she would be able to squeeze us in between 2 n 4, but would need to call me back cause she was driving, when she called me back, she asked if our air was on and I told her no, she said ok let me see if I can move some appointments around and get you in earlier, they where able to come at 1, had to find part, and came back by 4 and installed it! I was so happy that they took the time to think of my family and the hot weather coming over the weekend and got us taken care of! Our house gets full sun after 2 and today before ac was working our house was already at 85 degrees and that's with all the curtains closed, and windows closed and fans running in every room! Thank you Kaw Valley Heating and Cooling, I will have a good cool night sleep! I know who to call next time we need work done on our furnace or AC!

Once again I give Kaw Valley 5 stars , I called this morning with no heat , they were in 30 min just as Gene said he would be. My husband has years of experience and knowledge on the working HVAC systems he is quite pleased with Kaw valley knowledge and experience in this area . My experience is if I’m cold or hot , I’m nice and toasty , . The price was right .Thank you Kaw Valley

Great company! Kind and professional from beginning to end! was able to replace old ac within a few days of estimate . Answered all my questions. I Highly recommend this company which i find is harder to do these days.
