515 Mechanical

I feel scammed after using 515 mechical.
I contacted them when my heater wouldn't work and the outside temp was in the 40's. Did some over the phone troubleshooting and came to an agreement that the blower fan was bad but decided not to send someone out due to parts store being closed. Called them again the next day thinking they'd have access to the part now and they agreed to send someone out.
It turned out they decided to send a plumber with a pressure switch, a part that we had agreed was not the issue, and the plumber came to the same conclusion in 10 minutes. The plumber then made some phone calls and took the model number from my furnace then left saying that the owner would contact me with options to repair and replace. The plumber left after for 45 minutes and charged me $234 and the entire time he was working he was trying to convince me that my only real option would be to replace. After he left, I never received a call to know my options, I went an extra week with no heat in my house an the outside temp dipped into the 20's one night. I ended up buying and replacing the part we had agreed on in the original phone call myself and the furnace works like a champ for only $70.
Not only did I have to fix the furnace myself, I never received the full service I was told that I would by the plumber that was sent to fix a furnace.

I feel like I got scammed for 2 reasons... 1)you sent a plumber to work on my furnace. I know this because he said he doesn't touch furnaces because he is a plumber. 2)I was told there would be a followup after his visit to discuss options. You did not deliver the service I was told I was paying for.

You were fully aware the pressure switch wasn't the problem. In our first conversation we agreed that the pressure switch wasn't being closed because there was no pressure difference across the blower. You even suggested that I bypass the safety of the furnace by installing a jumper wire to bypass the pressure switch. Which didn't work because as it turns out, the furnace needs the blower motor to sustain combustion, but you probably know that and just don't care about the customer.

Also, it has been 3 weeks since your plumber came to work on my furnace so you must have me confused with a different customer you are trying to scam.

I am in the processes of finishing my basement and needed a contractor to do the HVAC duct work and plumbing. I called 2-3 other places, and they didn't answer or call back. Finally, I called Chris. He answered, showed up, gave me a fair price and his guys came and did the work on time and correctly. The guys were courteous, professional and did a great job. I'd be happy to recommend 515 Mechanical to anybody needing those services.

AC went out during one of the hottest weeks in the summer. Called and got a few quotes and Chris came back with the best quote for a top of the line trane unit. Within a few days they were at our house putting a new AC unit and furnace in. The guys were very nice from answering any questions we had to taking their shoes off before the stepped foot in the house (Even though our basement is dirty and unfinished). Smaller company so you get to work with Chris the owner the whole time who is very nice, courteous, and professional and with you every step of the way. Doesn’t matter if it’s Sunday night at 6pm or Monday morning at 4am, he is always available to answer all the questions you have. Couldn’t say enough good things about this company, we will be back and we will be telling all our friends about 515, thanks Chris and team! High end quality work!

We contracted with 515 Mechanicsl LLC over 4 months ago to put in a new HVAC system for our church, Christ apostolic Temple. We had to terminate his contract due to non performance. He ran off with $8,300.00 that we gave him for materials that he was to purchase for the job. He never purchased the materials nor returned our money. I do not recommend Chris Palmer to change a filter or to do anything else.
Our church has suffered greatly because of Chris Palmer and 515 Mechanical LLC Run when you hear the name Chris Palmer or 515 Mechanical LLC or you may be scammed just like us. We still have not recovered the $8,300. CROOKS!!!

If your googling this company, keep looking! If your are already talking with Chris run away fast! This guy is a scam artist! He will take your money or do a horrible job and never fix a thing! Don’t look at the 5 star reviews he usually just has his friends and family post good reviews for him. 100% folks look elsewhere! Chris, karma will catch up to you one day!

There Service department was Excellent! They were on time and addressed the problem quickly and had my furnace up and running in a timely fashion. Great work guys!
