Michael was great. He diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it quickly. And I appreciate that Armor Air records their service visits in a video so that the customer can see exactly what the issue is and how it will be resolved.
The install was prompt and short notice during a heat wave was a refreshing response...pardon the pun...considering the previous repairman I called had said " I can't get to it." I asked how long I have no working a.c. and he replied " well I don't have any working air conditioning in my house either." ...I hadn't recalled asking him that, armor air is a real company, professional, to the point, fast, honest, and fair. I had a friend at the time who had been working at A.L. in town, I called her on her cell and asked for her personal recommendation of a solid company near me, who's going to be someone I can stick with ... end of story.
Blake Called while on his way. He answered various questions I had about all the equipment making up my HVAC. He went into my attic after I told him 3 rooms were excessively dusty. He took a photo to show me an issue and sent a quote.
Also showed him an area in my yard where grassed was killed July 14 when water from my old water softener was spilled/emptied in my yard and killed grass. I told them I wasn’t too worried about it and it would probably grow back but it hasn’t after 5 months.
Received 3 other estimates for the EXACT SAME unit and work. Armor Air came in 3K higher than all 3, then said they would match the others after they tried to screw me over. No thank you!
I wanted the special they offer but apparently you have to have a certain kind of home because they said their technicians aren't trained to hook up a gas line and a water line. So, what are they trained to do? I even offered to install it myself if they'd bring the water heater. Against policy. They offer a great deal but when you try to get it, they say it's gonna be over a hundred just to install. Would give negative stars but not an option. Shouldn't be advertising this cause it's just to get people sucked in.
Anton was super professional and polite and made our bad day that much better! I had no idea that Armor Air did plumbing but he quickly found the problem and got us on the way to getting it fixed. Would definitely call them again if something else goes wrong and ask for Anton. His positivity made everything that much better.
My service technician Jacob Robinson with Armor Air was on time, very pleasant, very thorough, answered everyone of my questions and concerns. If I have anymore issues with my hvac, I would be happy to have Jacob R. return as my technician. Very professional and very accommodating.
Blake arrived as scheduled and performed the requested tune up to ensure our furnace would perform this winter. Took the time to make sure our unit would do just that. If you’re looking for a company and technician to install or maintain your existing system use Armor and request Blake.
Jake is always responsive, communicative, and an excellent repairman He has gotten to be the resident expert on our building. Grateful to have him servicing our account.
