Muegge Plumbing & Heating

Called Muegge Plumbing & Heating around 12:00 noon because our heat pump went out. Prompt response but thats the only thing positive that came out of this. When the “technician” showed up at 4:25pm he was not wearing a mask, I was later told that I had to ask at the time I called to have them wear a mask.
In 10 minutes he told me that my heat pump needed 4lbs of Refrigerant and it would cost $600. I asked him how that was possible and he said it was leaking but he could not determine where it was. Then he just stood there looking at me. Like I was suppose to ok $600 worth of refrigerant without fixing the leak. So I asked is there no way to find the leak and he said he could do a pressure check but he didnt have the time today nor did he offer to come back tomorrow. Keep in mind folks, it was 27 degrees the night before and only 38 that day and no heat pump.
I finally asked when he could do the pressure check and he said he would have the office call me in the morning and schedule it.
I never heard the next morning from the office. I called them at 12:45 to make a complaint and I talked to, I believe her name was, Amanda. She didnt offer a apology and acted like I was bothering her. Her only response was “I’ll pass this along to the owner”.
I called another company.

Our 25 year-old air-conditioning unit decided to give up the ghost on Memorial Day weekend 2020. We procured 3 quotes for a new HVAC system and chose Muegge's as the best overall. We accepted Zach's quote late Thursday afternoon and by Saturday morning our new Bryant HVAC system was installed and ready to use.

Zach was very knowledgeable about their products and didn't try to sell us more than what we needed. The well-experienced installers were prompt, courteous, and worked very efficiently as a team. I rarely write reviews, but was very impressed with how Zach and his team worked to get our system replaced in a timely manner. We are very satisfied with the look and performance of our new system!

They inspected our 24 yr old AC/furnace. Gave me options to repair vs replace. Made sense to replace with updated system. Installed the new system the next day. Did great work at a good price. Very happy with the new system and the service. Will use them in the future for PM inspections and service. Highly recommend them. Happy to find a local company to support and trust.

I called around 10am and had a technician at my door by 1230. Daniel was my tech and he was a very professional, knowledgeable guy that went above and beyond dealing with the ridiculousness of my old home and the problems I was having. Very satisfied, highly recommended. will be going to Muegge for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

First tech that came out did minimal work with minimal knowledge, even with notifying him/her of other apparent issues. However, "Ed" came out less than two weeks later than the first call (after again it wasn't functioning properly) and did a complete thorough service. Was very knowledgeable and personable. And he did everything free of charge since they had been out so recently. Definitely made up for the first call. Always prompt arrival.

They told me that they worked on dishwashers that would not drain. However, after looking at my unit for less than 30 seconds, they told me they did not work on dishwashers themselves, just the plumbing. Then they charged me $80.
They could have talked through the problem with me on the phone a little and been more upfront with what they could fix, or could have not charged me for 30 seconds of "work". Very disappointed.

They saved me a TON of money with their honest approach.

Worked through a AC issue and had resolution same day. They were able to help me diagnose the issue and I replaced the component. I was thinking this would be a hundreds and hundreds or thousand dollar fix.

Contacted two plumbers beforehand who looked at our clog and wanted to Jet the line costing upwards of $750! Muegge Plumbing and Heating was able to clean the line which costed us way less in the long run. Honest and cheapest plumber!!!

Rob with Muegge replaced a squeaking draft inducer and during the inspection, found a “bad system gas valve” (Ed Robs was 2nd tech). 1st tech did a great job of diagnosing & ordering the inducer and Amanda at the main office did a superior job with scheduling and communication!

Horrible follow up on poor intallation of new furnace and heat pump. Requested 5 times for the owner to contact me via phone, but he will only follow up via email, promises to take care of it and after 9 weeks, installation still is incomplete!!!!! I do not recommend them.
