Action Heating & Air Conditioning

Action provided me with a new hot water heater the same day I called, in spite of the challenge of finding the right size to fit my space. The installers were friendly, courteous, and very clean. When they finished, you could not tell they had even been there. I am very happy with their service.

Kevin was not only was on time, but he was early, which was great. He was extremely professional and checked my furnace in a timely manner. The entire experience was very pleasant and quick. I've been a customer for years and will continue to be.

Always polite and does great work. We had something needing repair with furnace, and they made sure the same technician came back to do the work because he was familiar with our project. Always fair and explain what needs to be done.

My wife and I had been using 3 AC units, taking them in and out of windows of our 1911 2-story Craftsman home. We had earlier received a proposal for a mini-duct system from another contractor but we hated the idea of air handlers and metal ducts in the attic as well as in the basement and the running of flex ducts all throughout the house. Last fall our neighbors were very excited to show us their recently installed Mitsubishi mini-split system by Action Heat and AC. They wanted to show us the wall units and demonstrated how quiet they were even at the highest setting - nothing like our noisy window units - and these units even offered supplemental heat.

We contacted Action and they came out to our house. We thought that the proposed plan was feasible and their proposal fair. We found Action's technicians skilled, neat and very accommodating. We appreciated that they went the extra mile to respect the character of our vintage home. The outside lines are hidden within color-matched channels and they kept the necessary openings in the interior walls to a minimum. These I patched and plastered with no trouble. The technicians neatly bundled the lines converging in the basement and positioned the condenser unit in an unobtrusive spot next to the house. All done in 4 days. We are very pleased and looking forward to some additional heat this winter and cool comfort next summer.

I called Action Heating and Air to do some maintenance on my furnace. Someone picked up the phone immediately. He was friendly and helpful. Kevin was scheduled to come out the next day. I hired this company to repair an ac unit that wasn't de-humidifying properly.
The technician showed up on time and was very polite. I told him the problem and he performed service. He inspected the furnace coils, added coolant to the compressor but couldn't say that what he did would correct the problem.
It didn't. I've been monitoring the humidity levels since he left and the lowest they've been is 58%. Still no condensation moisture going down the drain. I've spent over three hundred bucks for two pounds of coolant and an ac unit that still doesn't de-humidify.

I recently had repairs to my air conditioning system and Action Heating AC & Air Duct's tam came to my house to put in new coils and a valve. The service was excellent and the men were very efficient. They went beyond the call of duty to make sure that my system was working and in good shape. The best service I have ever had! Great service. I received an email prior to the scheduled appointment letting me know the tech was on his way . The tech arrived within a few minutes of the scheduled time. I didn't have to wait for them to show up. All my questions were answered in a very professional manner. The techs were courteous and took extra precautions to protect the floor where they were walking and working. Very impressive. Pricing was very reasonable.

We were very pleased with the work done by Action Heating and Cooling as always! They come two times per year to maintain our air conditioner and furnace. They are pleasant and professional and costs are always fair.

Well, they just gave us bad news: we need a new air-conditioner, although it is the original from 1985 and these folks have kept it going for years. They could have told us we needed to replace it years ago (like another company did) but, instead, told us that in spite of being old, it was running fine...until now. We like their service which is honest, punctual and fairly priced. If they are running late, we always receive a telephone call giving us a new ETA. We highly recommend this company.
