    We worked with HWA Insurance Claims and they sent this company out. Called my claim in on Tuesday, some from Kathy from Cool Operator contacted me in the afternoon later that day. We set up for the following day today Wednesday between 11-2pm. Jonathan had contacted me around 10:45 to give me a heads up he is in route. Jonathan was very professional and answered all of my questions and concerns leaving me very satisfied. He had to replace the fan in our HVAC System to get the Fan to operate on Cool. All of this was covered under our plan so all I paid was the $100 co-pay. He had us up and running in under 3 hrs. Very pleased, and would recommend this company to anyone that would need such a service.

    We had Chris come out and look at our furnace and we were very pleased. He was patient and knowledgeable in explaining our needed services. Todd installed our furnace and we have been pleased. We are currently getting an estimate for our AC!

    I had Two furnaces go out in servery cold winter weather. Called Cool Operator Heating and Cooling. Todd was here within the hour to diagnose and repaired the problem in one day. Would never consider calling anyone else. Great service, Great office staff and great guy.

    My home warranty company provided this HVAC company when my furnace broke. We got the furnace working again before they could come out. Well now its completely broke & its 5° outside. Their website says emergency calls are no problem. I have called them twice within the last 3 hours, no call back. False advertising!!!!! DO NOT CALL THEM IF YOU NEED EMERGENCY HEATING.

    Update: they finally called me back but at 11:30pm, 4 HOURS after my first EMERGENCY call for no heat. At that point I had already bundled up & gone to bed. They came the next morning & all is fixed now but my review still stands. SOMEONE from the company should have called me & stayed in touch. 4 hours is unacceptable to me.

    We purchased a new house in January 2019 and Home Warranty of America (HWA) coverage was included for a year. In the beginning of April our home was freezing. The heat pump had gone out. Being that said we have three young kids, and it was freezing I had to get this fixed in a hurry. I called HWA, they said they have a very solid contractor who can get the job done. It was cool operator heating and cooling Inc. The owner of the company came and took a look at the heating unit and advised us It needs to be replaced. It would cost us over $1,225.00 which HWA will not cover due to all those are for the modifications. Over $1,225 for only parts that HWA would not cover? We agreed to get it done since we needed heat at home to keep our young kids comfortable. HWA called me on Wednesday April, 17 advising us that the parts are ready and cool operator will call us to schedule an appointment. I called them twice that day and left messages, no one returned my calls, HWA called me on Thursday April 18 and said that cool operator are closed due to Easter holiday. When I called to schedule an appointment on Monday April 22 the owners wife picks up (Kathie) who seemed not to care that we have no heat and have been calling them since last week. While on the phone FINALLY she said that the unit is ready for them to pick up from HWA (which they had it since Wednesday) but before they setup an appointment there will be an additional $75 charge for rewiring on top of the $1,225, at this point I felt they were talking advantage of us since we were desperate for heat, so I questioned her why an extra charge, she didn't like me questioning her and said we will not pick the unit up from HWA and hungup. (So I called HWA and advised of the poor customer service) I called her back again today April 25th and all she had to say WE ARE DONE CALL HWA AND HUNGUP. (I was just calling to let her know we were moving forward with a different company) glad she hung up on me again the second time which made me put this review so people don't get stuck with this company.

    PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! HAVE THE BALLS TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND EXPLAIN ! NOT HUNGUP!

    This is the reason this company has all low rating reviews. I just want to warn you all, if you are working with a home warranty company and they refer you to this company you can request to have a different contractor come. You have the right to request for a different contractor. We had another contractor come today Chicagoland and heating who is going to finally install our heating unit and our non coverage cost will be $425. What a difference.
