Apex Heating & Cooling

These guys are my go to HVAC repair service now. They made my AC repair a priority when no one else could. I received a repair job from them that others wanted hundreds of dollars more for. They do what they say will do, they charge what they say they will charge, they show up when they say they will be there. You can never go wrong with them.

Apex Heating & Cooling was fantastic! He was on time, was very polite and knowledgeable. He was in a good mood and never made us feel uncomfortable. The technician informed us our options and made the whole experience very easy for us to understand . I would highly recommend this amazing business and we are very happy we choose them!

Called these guys during the coldest day of the Polar Vortex when my furnace was not working, so I was desperate for anyone to come out. I was very grateful that they were able to come out within a 2 hour time period. I was told by the phone operator that it was a $200 service fee and I said it was fine. when the technician arrived, he determined that there was snow on my exhaust pipes outside and thus it was not working. When he left, my boyfriend gave him the credit card and he charged us $632 just to clean out snow from our pipes outside. I understand that there would be an upcharge because everyone wanted heat during the coldest day ever in Chicago but $632 is ridiculous. When I called the number I originally called to make the appointment, the man agreed it was a lot especially given that he quoted $200 service fee, but he said he was only an answering service hired by Apex and there was no one I could speak to. I told him that I would have to ask my credit card company to hold payment until I spoke to the owner or someone else and he said that's fine, you do what you need to do. I can lie to you and tell you that someone will call you back or I can tell you the truth that there's no one that you can talk to and he hung up on me.

Greg and his team were just amazing and I can’t forget the amazing job they did for me. if it weren’t for them, I would still be in a cold room! Earlier on, I had struggled so much that I couldn’t bear it any more. I needed HVAC service tech to come and check out my furnace. It had stopped working during one winter afternoon. I tried contacting various suppliers, I couldn’t get hold of them. I luckily got in contact with Apex Heating & Cooling who handled me with so much attention. Greg did their magic and sooner the furnace was back again!! Thanks guys for the good job.

I no longer have complains from my tenants regarding water heaters or air conditioners since the time I replaced my former technicians with Apex Heating & Cooling. For that reason, this company has won my loyalty and I’ll definitely be their ambassador. Ben, expect two of my friends to contact you very soon for air conditioning unit installations.

Apex did an amazing job fixing my heating system when my furnace started to go on the fritz. They came at a time that worked for me and actually checked through my whole system, even though it was obvious that the furnace was broken. As it was, they found some other places that needed cleaning and fixing in the ducts/filters. My new furnace is installed, and my heat works better than ever.!

Couldn’t ask for a better qualified HVAC company. Greg at Apex Heating & Cooling makes you feel like your the only customer that he has. Very personable and considerate. We have two AC units and HVAC all had to be serviced. Highly recommend their technicians.

I woke up yesterday to a cold house and furnace that was not running. I called Greg to schedule a repair, when I got to the office. They told me they were booked but he would squeeze me in and call me 30 min before he would be to me house. I got a call about noon and went home. He diagnosed the problem and had my furnace up a running in less then 30 min. This was truly a great experience, professional and efficient. Thank You.

My experience with Apex Heating & Cooling was outstanding. The were everything you would want from a service company. Competitive, on time, friendly, left everything clean and picked up, took care of the necessary paperwork. I would recommend them to anyone.

I contacted them last night and were able to get a technician to my house the next day even though they were busy. Technician was very professional and got my air conditioner back up and running very quickly. Couldn't be happier with them. Would definitely recommend!
