    Had a great talk with Mike. Things are better explained. While I'm not at the outcome i wanted i feel Mike and Hurst HVAC is willing to help solve some issues. We well communicate over the next few weeks and hopefully achieve a mutual goal and achieve a good deal for both of us. Mike is a straight shooter and i in no way think any ill attempt was made here. I feel he truely wants to help his customers. I will update my review as this progresses.

    (I left this here to show the good. Deleting it would serve no one. Showing that i had an issue and they worked to amend the issue and helpme as a customer shows even if you have an issue Mike will work with you to fix it. Thank you Mike.

    Well it started well but the more i learn the worse it has gotten. I had an old 1972 unit that went out last summer. It was costing me almost $400 a month in winter to heat my place. So i had planned on replacing it. AC went out. I was going to install my own unit (i was a N.A.T.E. certified tech. Owned a company like 6 years ago. For almost 20 years) but to get the rebates a certified company was required. I wanted a heat pump package unit. That would qualify for the rebates. Two main factors were heat pump and 15 or higher seer. Now I'm a busy guy so after doing the estimate and talking with Mike Hurst felt he understood everything. The bid seemed basic so didn't think much about lack of certain details. The bid was $5700 and i used their recommended financing. Approved for $6k. Looked good installation went well. They took out the old unit... Never put the floor back in so left a hole in my floor leading to under my place. ( made for an interesting awakening at 2am to a cat fight in my house.) AC worked great. Then winter comes and bill jumps from $160- $220 jumping to $500 - $580. Call comed they come out and pin point the unit as the cause. Call Hurst and they send a tech out looks at nothing. Does nothing says he'll talk to them at the shop and see what they can do. Two weeks go by nothing. Call back they send Paul over. He checks numerous things, but seems to find nothing. This is where it becomes clear i do not have a heat pump they installed a 14 seer unit so i got no rebates. Mind you i was very clear that i needed energy efficient. There is no reason i would pay 6k for a unit that's less efficient then the one that's from 1972. I could buy a 3 ton 16 seer heat pump colman for $1800 i priced it 2 weeks ago. So since Paul was here i have written Mike emails asking how can i get this fixed i need a heat pump unit. I can't afford $500 a month and now an extra $100 for the loan for a unit that barely heats my home. My father just installed a unit just like the one i want for somewhere around $4k. I would be willing to change this rating if my issues are fixed. They really seemed like a wonderful company. I'm hoping this has all just been i miss communication. But I'm still paying $500 a month. Almost $2k so far. Come on Hurst.

    I would highly recommend Hurst Heating and Cooling!! We have had to have our furnace in our new home serviced twice now and BOTH times Hurst Heating and Cooling came to the rescue. From the initial phone call, the text message giving an approximate time frame the tech would be there, to the actual servicing of the furnace. Hurst Heating and Cooling was on the ball! Very professional and great at answering any questions you might have.

    The technician that showed up was here when they said he would be he got right to work checking our a/c and determined that their really wasn't anything wrong with it other than it,is 17 years old,he cleaned it and got it running more efficiently and Told us about options for upgrading in the future ,but no pressure and certainly nothing we didn't need done. I Highly recommend these guys.

    Our technician Tommy came in to a dier situation at our home but was determined to fulfill our needs for the ice cold air we now have! He wasn't supposed to return until the next morning, feeling discouraged, however he was determined and returned the same day and resolved it successfully! We can't Express how much professionalism Hurst Heating and Cooling has. We will surely recommend them to all family and friends!
