Never again. This review is a bit late since this happened in January. Furnace stopped working, called Hurst and right away they came out. They let us know we HAD to get a new furnace so okay. We called the Warranty due to just buying the home and they asked that the Technician let them know what they found that required a new furnace. Hurst tech would not call them. The receptionist was extremely rude. I called multiple times to ask them to call the warranty because the new furnace should be covered and they wouldn't. The receptionist called them and told them that she faxed the paperwork and that she would NOT do it again even though they needed to hear from the technician himself. They did not help and I ended up having to pay out of pocket over $3500 for a new furnace. I will never go to Hurst again, more so due to the receptionist being so unprofessional.
We purchased a Lennox furnace in 2020 from Hurst. In February of 2021 the blower motor went out and they replaced it. Two days ago we went to turn on the AC and the blower wasn’t working and pull the cool air through the furnace. Yesterday the technician came out and the part which was a circuit board on the furnace which was under warranty was replaced. I was charged $292 for warranty circuit board/shipping &paperwork. This furnace has a 10 year warranty. I will never recommend Hurst to anyone. For a furnace that is less than 2 years old with a warranty and having been serviced twice already is insane. Charging me $292 for a part under warranty is ridiculous and in my opinion an unfaithful practice. Find someone else, a company that is more reputable and not out to scam seniors during a massive heat wave.
Excellent service, very thorough, explained what was done, and answered any questions I had. I would recommend this company to anyone. The high quality of their technicians speaks to the quality of the company.
Made a service call early Monday morning, appointment was set up for the afternoon and Brett got our AC back up and running within 20 minutes of showing up. Appreciate the honesty of changing out a capacitor that had gone bad and not just trying to sell me a whole new unit. Thank you!
My tenants called this company and when they came out they were told that we needed a new furnace for $3,400 and that if they turned the existing unit on they could be poisoned by carbon monoxide. This particular furnace is 11 years old and when I called the company that I always use as the property owner it just needed a small part and cleaning. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism that was experienced by my tenants.
Brett was great. Showed up early and explained everything that was going on and what to do after the fix. Very quick to providing suggestions for other potential maintenance issues we may run into!
