A & H Mechanical Contracting

I was referred to A & H Mechanical by another plumbing company to get a Hydrojet water cleaning on our main drain line. The A&H plumbing technician came out to provide the services. This hydrojet service was very new to me so I asked lots of questions about success rate. The technician stated they have great success. Not in my case, the technician got the water hose stuck in my main sewer line, he stated it’s about 5-6ft in and he was unable to remove it. He called for another technician to come to assist and neither one was able to remove hose. Once they realize they couldn’t remove the hose, the begin to blame us and our sewer line for getting the equipment jammed and stuck. They became very rude, inconsiderate and drove stating we will receive a bill from their company on how much they will charge me to dig and remove their equipment. This is unacceptable and by far the worst kind of service I’ve ever received. Now I have a water hose stuck in my main sewer line with no way to remove it.

This place for a quote to install a tankless water heater asked for a price and the person that gave me the quote told me 3500 to 4000.thousand I told him that was ridiculous I can buy a tankless water heater for well under a 1000.dollars and he said that's the price good bye

This company was referred to me by another company for a sewer clean out. I paid $250 only to have the sewer line continue to backup. I spoke with the serviceman Mike and tried to ask questions about the service or lack of. His response was that he wasn’t going to argue with me. I wasn’t being argumentative, I only wanted service for money paid or refund. I would give them 0 stars if that were possible. The website shows them as an ac service, maybe they should stick to that and not attempt plumbing matters.

We were recommended A and H when I moved my mother to Illinois from Kentucky. They quoted 8100 dollars to hook up plumbing to her mobile home.
The next contractor quoted less than 2000.

No-one from this company will get my business.

Called them up last minute not knowing them because we instinctively knew the plumbing companies on the MO side was quoting us too high of a bid and we were in a desperate situation to get plumbing fixed. They came out, did the job quickly and correctly, and charged less than the other companies. Insanely pleased and highly recommended!

Hopefully, our problem is fixed. They came out twice in 11 days for the same issue. A few months old, tankless water heater, kept not working. (The water heater was not purchased or installed by A and H)
So far, so good.
I would not hesitate to call them again.

Would highly recommend, they replaced my ac unit with an upgraded 2 stage and it made a huge difference. All the guys there are great to deal with.
