They are very informative and will never leave your side during the process. I felt comfortable and never felt I was a bother at anytime when I contacted their offices. IF I COULD GIVE 100 stars I most certainly would. There were some issues with a program ran by Ameren of which I applied. ENERGY STARS are the contractor for Amerens faulty program Energy Stars , Jason, had the work completed at no cost to me, and said he’d deal with Ameren later. This is an example of putting your customers first, going above and beyond and being committed to excellent customer service. Thank you

The service was excellent!. I scheduled the appointment for the weekend and to my surprise there was an immediate opening.
My technician was personable, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the functionality and features of the smart thermostat. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC, Thermostat, etc.

Overall, I had a good experience - it's hard to say excellent despite their team that answers their phone being outstanding. It was honestly a series of unfortunate events, but I can explain the 3-star rating.

We were looking to replace both our heating and cooling systems since our furnace had gone out, and our contact walked us through some financing options based off the system we chose. I was concerned the option with the Ameren partnership with the utility bill wouldn't work out since we only have gas through them and not electric as well. My contact assured me just having them for one utility was fine, and low and behold after a 2 to 3 or so week turnaround time of us freezing in our house, we find out we were denied financing for the same reason that I was concerned. Rather than giving me a call and looking at other options, my contact chose to email me with a subpar response time given the weather conditions.

I take matters into my own hands and call their business directly requesting to talk to anyone that can help walk me through their other financing options and the staff wanted to direct me back to my original contact as he was the "expert" which I quickly turned down as I wasn't getting a satisfactory response time as well as "expert" is subjective at this point in time. They quickly connect me with another person who can assist (who very swiftly takes care of me and answers all of my questions which was great).
Then the install happens, and the team that handled that were great as well.

Approximately 2-3 months later - my new AC stops working so I give them a call with more sass than the team that handles the phones deserves, but it was no worse than me saying it'd be great if we could get this taken care of as soon as possible since I'm the one paying for my energy bill (since the AC was not cooling properly, it would just run literally all day). After 2 re-schedulings due to no one's fault but my own, we arrive at the fated repair day.

Please take this with a grain of salt as I'm no expert and I'm describing this in my own understanding of my technician's words. My whole cooling system went down due to us not changing our filter on a monthly basis. I understand the science that he used to explain how that affects everything given I have a decent background in science, but there is one thing that just doesn't sit well with me. Why didn't our installers inform us how important this was since we do change our filters quarterly to semi-annually and they did mention to remember to change them, but our repair technician emphasized a monthly changing is of the utmost importance. I understand our repair technician was doing his due diligence and ensuring our system is good to go, but I find 2 hours at our house for that one explanation more than suspicious and I personally view it as a cover up for an improper install but that may just be ignorance on my part.

Key Notes:
- I never asked for a discount or free servicing since I believe mistakes happen.
- I never was offered anything either given the repair already was included in my one year servicing warranty that came with the purchase.
- If the repair wasn't covering up an improper install and using the filter being changed 1-2 months late as a cover-up, then that NEEDS to be overly emphasized during the install, but I still find that all hard to believe given it is maybe a 3 month old system.

Darrell came out to perform diagnostics on my heat pump system. He was punctual, professional, and very friendly. He was very thorough with his diagnostics and had parts being ordered before leaving my home. Overall, it was the experience one would hope for.

We had Gene out to inspect our system and Darrell to repair. These guys know their stuff. They are very professional, friendly, and caring. They take their time to make sure your needs are met. I know they have a hard job going into people's homes, maybe having to have the gas turned off until repairs can be made, and folks get angry. These guys are very graceful under pressure. Darrell did our repairs to our gas lines, and it looks so good. It was a very tough, lengthy job, but he made it look easy. He was so thorough, and made sure our repairs were top notch. I seriously can't thank them enough! They are just really good guys! And everyone I've spoken to at the office has always been so kind and caring toward me as well!
