Luckey and Donovan was very respectful patient and knowledgeable about the AC, They ware very dedicated in fixing the unit I appreciate him so much if you guys have problems with your Ac West INc is definitely a go to.
We have had a horrible experience with this company, which began back in October 2021. We were experiencing issues with our furnace kicking off. They sent a contractor who told me it was my smart thermostat causing the issue, we went ahead and troubleshooted through the steps. It was not the thermostat because the furnace continued to kick off after he left. He came back for his second visit the same technician told me again it’s just my thermostat. By the fifth tech visit we have a new technician who did determine that we had a cracked heat exchange & the furnace had been exhausting back into our house. By the sixth visit we had plans to get it replaced. So here we are Jan 4, 2022, with 0° weather today &predicted -9 tomorrow. The install was supposed to happen today. West maintenance claims the company they ordered the furnace through ordered the wrong part. So instead of trying to call around to other local companies to get a new furnace, they told me and my family to wait till Friday. So now we are supposed to continue without heat for -9° weather. That was their solution. Obviously, this isn’t acceptable, so I called around to another local company who is able to come the same day and install a new furnace. I highly recommend you do not work with this company.
Had furnace go out about 3 week ago, took them 1 week to come out. figured no problem it's getting cold they will be busy. They came out Tuesday and was told they need to order parts they did not have in stock. He told me Monday they will come back and install. Monday came and no part no phone call I called them that Tuesday and she did not have update. They finally came out Saturday and he said still not fixed to trying using it but if still not working at all to turn off. I was like what I thought u fixed it he said no he will need to order another part. At this point the furnace was acting the same way as before like what he replaced was not the failed part, he must have taken guess and did not work. He said he would order parts took till wen. To get part but they are to busy to come back till end of week. now I have to go without heat though the holidays. I was more than patient with them, till now since it has been 3 weeks and they could not fix furnace correctly the first time.
I met with Rachel and Troy West about the services they provide at West Maintenance. Troy is very knowledgeable in Maintenance work needed in work environments such as: Commercially, Industrial or Residential. He genuinely cares about his customers and employees, and his staff does FIRST class work. Something that most company owners forgot to do, but not Troy! He cares that the customer is satisfied and his employees are working in a good environment. He works very hard and sets a good example for everyone who works there. I would recommend them to anyone needing Maintenance work in the Quad Cities.
Jake is awesome! Seriously, 89 degrees upstairs and we are melting...Wizard of Oz style. Maybe that wasn’t the right analogy, or whatever it’s called (a bit of delirium may have set in... remember it is HOT), but you get the picture. Did I say it’s hot? Sweet baby Jesus it is HOT!
Okay, back to Jake. He called to let us know he could make it sooner than our scheduled appointment (bless him) and got right on the job. He had to get an additional part, and came back! (Shocked... not really...kinda... we’ve had appliances and things serviced and were told they would have to come back the next day. Not cool people!) - The hubby was shocked, convinced Jake would not return. He came back! - Yes, I know I mentioned this...again, it’s hot.
Circling back... Jake quickly fixed the issue, explained what the problem was, and discussed maintenance with us. We appreciate his time, professionalism, and well, him fixing the AC. :-)
Thank you for quickly dispatching a technician (I called before 8 and they answered! Flippin awesome!) and thank you for fixing our AC unit! Yes, it is cooling down. Will live to fight another day! (Um, not fighting anyone; I just thought it sounded good).
My home warranty AC repair was subcontracted out to them. They performed incredibly, the technician was helpful and explained what maintenance would help keep it running well. Was very upfront about the part of the refrigerant that would not be covered. Excellent experience and would be glad to use them again for anything I needed.
