Super friends, fast response, and had the parts on hand to fix the issue. I started the day thinking I was going to pay 5000 for a new furnace and ended up under 600 for a replacement part. Very professional and very impressive. The previous company who was rated the highest in the area tried to tell me I would be better off replacing the unit. They looked at it and it and replaced two parts and it is working the best it has since I moved in. Nothing but good things to say about the tech as well. In and out in about an hour with installation of the new parts.
We have always been pleased with the service provided by Econotemp. They installed our original furnace and air conditioner over 20 years ago and just recently installed a new energy efficient furnace and air conditioner for us. Both were still working when we decided to upgrade, and I'm sure it has been because of the excellent service they have provided when needed over the years to maintain them. I especially appreciate that they have always been easy to contact in any "emergency" and come out on weekends and after hours if needed. The office staff, service providers, and sales people are always polite and helpful. They contact you after you schedule a service with a reminder of the time/day of service. On the day they were scheduled to work, Bruce contacted me 30 minutes before he came to let me know he was on the way. After service has been provided, Bruce and the installer took the time to explain what service they provided, and how to operate new equipment. Their prices are very reasonable, and the salesperson for our recent service offered several different options for equipment and prices and explained the difference. I highly recommend this company.
From the first start you talked with Tina and she was the best ever. My technician was Bill. You couldn't ask for more professional and kind person. I've made a note in my phone that he is the one I want to use again next year. Felt confident in their prices and felt confident in their professionalism.
We needed an evaporator coil replacement and some upgrades on our AC system. The system was only 4 years old but had some problems because of the difficult installation in a tight attic space. Our service tech, Paul, discussed the difficulties and what would be needed to open up the space to access for repair. This was done in a straight forward and clear manner, something absent from our installation company's approach.
Paul and Bill proceeded to deal with some coil size incompatibility issues but were able, along with their management staff, to come up with viable solutions to fit the system and eliminate some flaws created by the original installation.

I've done business with Econotemp for a good number of years. Tina, at the back office and Bill Bancroft, the lead tech, have made sure my family is serviced each year; I have a superior heating and cooling system. Recently, Bill worked on the system to solve a sneaky issue that had been ongoing for almost 3 years: on the FAN setting, the fan would work for about 45 min, then shut off and on intermittently, causing a strain on the blower. After a circuit board replacement, Bill determined that the next a good final fix would be to install a new thermostat. I asked for his recommendation and ordered a new unit on his advice. It was a great move: The new one is a smart unit and much more accurate than the older one. These folks know their stuff, and they have competitive pricing. They have my hearty recommendation!
