We have used Spencer heating and air several times over the past two years. They are efficient, do outstanding work, and extremely cost-effective. It appears their technicians are not paid to sell additional services and products that I did not need, which is a huge Positive over other companies I have used in the past. I would strongly recommend them

I have used Spencer Heating and air for over 10 years. Their friendly HVAC techs and expertise are exceptional and they ALWAYS treat me like family in every interaction. Most of the techs have been on staff for many years and we have had the same service tech for our bi-annual system checks for the past 3 years. A recent weekend issue with the air conditioner compressor following a power surge resulted in a call back within 60 min from the on-call tech who provided instructions that saved me hundreds of dollars on an on-site visit AND was spot-on as the unit just needed a "rest and reset". The unit was functioning properly the next day. Spencer is my HVAC for as long as we live in Duluth.

Realize air conditioning was working at 7pm ,thursday. call Spencer's and left a message because it was after hours ( they also had a emergency number) . 730 am friday( labor day weekend)morning they called us and had tech at our house by 830am . 1030 am air conditioning is fixed !! Tech explained what was wrong and what needed to be done, once he finished he again explained what he had done . He explained everything very clearly so that I understood. We have used them for many many yrs and have never had a bad experience!!! Excellent service!!

I have been THOROUGHLY SATISFIED with sales and service from SPENCER HVAC over many years. They helped me get all of the remaining life out of an old system by doing some quality repair work when I first employed them. A lesser dealer would have hurried me into a complete system replacement, but SPENCER HVAC was sensitive to my budget. When an entirely new system was the only reasonable choice, they helped me make an informed decision from the several systems available from Lennox. (They’re a Lennox dealer, and I’m satisfied there, too, but they service others.)

I use their preventative maintenance program and have gotten to know many of their techs through the years. The telephone contacts are great, too. Great quality and great consultation at fair prices. I’d consider no one else in this area.

I just had Spencer put in a heating and ac system. Jay, Josh, and Pat are great professionals. I learned quite a bit about hvac systems from these guys, especially Jay. He answered all my questions. They were able to schedule me right away, they completed the install, and did a great clean up. Knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I will be recommending this company to anyone who asks.

This company might have a great reputation but I was rejected for a new unit to be installed at my house. I understand summer time is a busy time for hvac companies but I was told my project is not something they want to take on at the moment and they would pass due to bigger jobs and busy season. In my opinion thats bad business.

Main a/c compressor went our last night, and after contacting 4 companies I decided to go with Spencer because 1) they were highly rated here, 2) they actually called me back this morning when 2 others did not bother to reach out, and 3) they could see me TODAY
(Thursday) where the other one couldn't fit me in until Saturday.

Kelly (dispatch) called early and made an appt to send Adam (tech) out to look at things. I braced myself for a full replacement recommendation, only to find out that it was the outside breaker for that unit that had gone bad (we've had some surges/outages recently, so that makes sense). $208 later I'm back up and running. Best $208 I've ever spent.
