I was struggling with my HVAC condensation leaking into my living room. Self HVAC was able to schedule me on the same day I called them. Chad was very professional, showed up on time, and solved my issues the right way. The price was reasonable for the quality of work performed and the attention to detail. Chad also performed routine maintenance on the unit and it's running very smoothly now.

Outstanding and trustworthy HVAC company. I have used them several times over the years, including for a full replace of condensors/furnace. John Self is a very honest man and several times refused to upsell me on a new system saying we could get more time out of the old one -- no upsells here. Chad is an outstanding tech and very personable. Kelly is outstanding in the office and extremely kind and responsive when it comes to scheduling. When it got down to 9 degrees and everyone was panicking, of course my furnace stopped working on christmas day before I left town. I emailed Kellyand she got back to me promptly and offered to connect me with Chad to see if he could talk me through some temporary fixes. Long story short, the problem was EXACTLY what Kelly and Chad thought it was, and I was able to fix the issue and restore my system myself. This gave me an education, fixed my problem and eliminated stress during a crazy holiday, and they didn't charge me a dime to do it. Again, I highly recommend them -- their prices are very good and reasonable. There might be cheaper outfits out there, and there definitely are more expensive ones, but I do not think any of them approach the quality of Self.

Had a bad install from another company that then ghosted me. Had both John and Mark come out. Both arrived on time, gave me a very fair quote, and did a great job fixing the issues - very friendly guys too. Highly highly recommend!

I got a call back after 15 minutes I requested a service. John scheduled a visit for the same day and came to the house an hour after we talked over the phone. He explained us in detail what was the issue and provided different solutions. We’re very happy with the service and quick response.

CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! Self Heating and Cooling has taken care of my homes heating and cooling needs since I purchased it in 2019. They come twice a year for general maintenance, at a very reasonable cost I might add. Once right before summer and again right before winter. All the technicians have been friendly and professional.
I've only had to call Self Heating and Cooling twice for service outside of my biannual maintenance schedule. The first was right after one of the regular scheduled maintenance services and it was a quick fix. They were out to my house with in a couple of hours of my call. Something just came loose in my furnace during the regular maintenance service so they didn't charge me. The second service call the technician spoke with me over the phone to try and trouble shoot the problem first. He was able to walk me through the fix over phone in less than 5 minutes. That was nice, saved me the money of having a service call to my house. Honest, helpful, and professional. I WISH I COULD LEAVE 10 STARS!!!

John Self returned our desperate call because the furnace went out at our rental property. He returned calls and was honest and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem, picked up a replacement fan motor, and installed it. They are my new go-to HVAC company.

In anticipation of a recent cold snap, I found these guys out of the blue on nextdoor, and had them out to service my decrepit HVAC system. When it turned out a repair wouldn't be much more than a stopgap, they gave me a variety of quotes on a new system.

I shopped around a little and didn't find anyone beating the quote they gave me. The crew that attempted to fix my system were friendly and capable so I went with them.

Everyone I've talked to or who came to my home was courteous, kind, and professional. I'm never calling anyone else.

You know how everyone says they have a guy but most times their guy is not "the" guy. My neighbor recommended their HVAC guy and I realized immediately I finally had a guy.

It is usually one of the family owners that respond to service requests. John Self is the best. And I can't forget to mention Kelly. She handles scheduling and billing like a boss. She is very responsive - she makes the whole process feel effortless.

We used one of the 'name' brands to service our AC/Furnace units since we built our home. When it came time to replace the unit, they quoted a price that was way above my expectations after my research.

In comes Self, who was referred to me by another satisfied customer, and they not only beat the price substantially (Same Manufacturer and equipment) but also were more responsive throughout the process. When it was install day, they showed up on time, did the job right and left the work space in better condition than when they got here. I'll recommend them to anyone looking for service and/or installation.
