One thing I particularly appreciated about Dr Cool is their commitment to transparency. They were upfront about all costs and never tried to sell me anything that wasn't necessary. They truly care about their clients' satisfaction, and it shows in their work.

Our first time service with Dr. Cool for our home AC issues, did not disappoint. We contacted a couple of smaller outfits after not being happy with various large AC service companies which seemed a little too interested in up selling services as opposed to good diagnosis and fix options. Dr. Cool responded to our call immediately and came out early next morning. Provided a clear diagnosis of issue, with options to consider as a fix, and fixed our problem that same day using the warranty still available with our unit. All with very fair pricing. Will definitely call them back for future AC needs.

Vent cleaning and sanitizer- $800. Quoted a uv light for $550. Do yourself a favor and get multiple quotes- RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED.

My AC broke down after 17 years and needed a new unit ASAP. I started looking around for reputable AC companies. I had never heard of Dr Cool Services, so I took a chance and called them. Gil returned my call within 5 minutes of me calling and was at my house the next day. He gave me a few AC options for installation as repairing my 17 yr old unit was really not an option. Gil and his team were diligent and professional. I am very glad I hired them and highly recommend. Gil always does an amazing job cleaning out our air ducts, dryer vents, and AC. He’s prompt, does great clean work, and the pricing is definitely fair.

Our first experience with Dr. Cool was when we moved into our new home approximately a year ago. We decided to see about air duct cleaning. Gil, the owner, came out to our home and looked into our ducts and told us that they did not need to be cleaned. Big points for honesty. He could have charged us and been on his way. Now, a year later we needed our coil cleaned on our inside unit and we immediately remembered the honesty that Gil at Dr Cool offered us and we called him again. He was out at our home the next day with his partner and completed that job for us. He explained every step to me, showed me the dirty/moldy coil, installed a UV light for us, and cleaned up any dirt left behind in the house. He also replaced our drain pan. That was a month or two ago. Our 3rd experience was dryer vent cleaning, which is a fire safety procedure that everyone should do. Our vent goes out to the roof and was SO backed from the old owners dog hair! Gil sent me pictures of what was removed from the vents. My most recent experience was my outside AC unit (condenser) motor stopped working. Gil came out same day to check if it was worth replacing the motor or if we should change The whole AC system. Again, his honesty came into play when he told me we could just replace the motor and a couple other parts instead of replacing the whole AC system. Trust and honestly goes a LONG way now days, especially with my boyfriend who is a police officer and sees scams every day. Gil and his company, doctor cool, are the real deal. Don’t waste your time with AC chain companies. Go with someone who is honest and will make sure you’re taken care of. I would never recommend another company.

I am extremely pleased with the services of Dr. Cool air conditioning repair & installation and its owner Gil. I called him on a Sunday when I found that some green liquid was leaking out of my 12 year old AC unit. He came over in an hour after the call. He did NOT charge me extra because it was a Sunday like others do. After diagnosing an oil leak and freon loss, he also discovered several electrical parts burnt out due to a surge. He immediately installed the necessary parts to keep my unit running but strongly suggested that it was time for me to replace the system. He gave me an excellent price for a brand new top of the line Carrier, the best on the market today at a fantastic reasonable price. Tuesday morning he was there with his crew and in 5 hours the new system was installed, up and running. He also transferred the parts that he had installed on Sunday to keep the old unit running to the new one at no extra charge. this inclluded capacitors, UV light, and surge protectors for both, the outside as well as the inside. He also cleaned out and sanitized my ducts for no extra charge. For the rest of the week he called me twice a day just to make sure everything was running properly the way it should. I will always continue to call him when I need service and would not even consider calling anybody else. I give this company 5 stars.
