Lloyd' Heating and Cooling installed my entire unit a few years ago, which I was incredibly happy about. I had them out for routine maintenance this morning (John was excellent). Quality, price, service, etc. I cannot say enough about Lloyd's... I'm a customer for life.

I’ve been working on my dissertation these last few days on why we’ve found our AC company for years to come. I say that only half-jokingly, as my wife had to remind me to do my best to keep it concise. Unfortunately, I’m unable to do that.

We’ve had two units supplying our house since we’ve been here, but started to detect a mold problem several months ago, with the humidity in one part of the house exceeding 70%. It was significant enough that I bought a dehumidifier as a temporary fix. On the other side of the house, a home warranty company had installed an air handler several years ago, but apparently never bothered to address water damage to the supply and return plenums, which we realized after our electric bill began to rise.

Most recently, our drip pain needed to be emptied frequently, despite my having cleared the drain line. As such was the case, we decided we’d kicked the can down the road long enough. I called a few different reputable companies who advertised on Angie’s List, and to be fair, the workers who came out seemed educated, although seemed to be pushing a higher end model right away.

Some dear friends of ours highly recommended Lloyd’s, as they had installed units in their home, as well as those of their in-laws. The way they spoke about Lloyd’s, and Terry Streets in particular, you would have thought that they were exaggerating. Well, after about 6 weeks of reading, researching, investigating, and dialoguing with Terry, we finally decided to go with Lloyd’s. And let me say this without reservation: they weren’t exaggerating. Lloyd’s completed the install this week, and it was a complete overhaul, with a beautiful new 5-ton Trane, ducts, zoning, and duct modification. Terry oversaw the work, and took part in it as well. It was no easy task. He and his crew (Jason, Danny, and TJ) had to take apart one of the air handlers piece-by-piece, which was absolutely wedged in a very cramped attic space (really only fit for crawling), with the handler being full of water.

All-in-all, it was a three day install, but Terry did his best to make sure we had AC both nights before the install was complete, and it required them staying on-site well after dinner time. I cannot speak highly enough about the workmanship and integrity of this company, and I give Terry special mention for his patience with me throughout the whole process. Even from the beginning, he wasn’t trying to push the newer technology, such as what one might find if investing in a variable speed inverter. On the contrary, after thoroughly assessing our home, as well as our budget, he strongly felt that a 2-stage unit was all we would need for comfort and savings. He was meticulous, and his years of experience showed.

Lloyd’s is a hidden gem, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking either for a company to install a new unit, to repair an existing problem, or simply for maintenance work. Don’t be fooled by the small number of reviews, as they’re known primarily by word of mouth. Seriously, don’t waste time looking for another company. Call Lloyd’s first. You won’t regret it!

Two years ago replaced Goodman unit with their recommended Trane system for reduced operating costs and quieter operation. This week replaced all ductwork because of pests.

I'm so comfortable with Lloyd's fairness and reliability that I wouldn't call anyone else. It's tricky finding good contractors but this is one I would never worry about. So glad I found them! I have them perform an annual service before A/C season and never worry about hothouse Memorial Days July 4th and Labor Day. Best habit I learned - finally!

I have used Lloyd's folks on 3 separate occasions, and I have been very pleased with the service I received. They are honest, timely and knowledgeable. In the three times I've had them out, they have diagnosed problems from a capacitor that had gone bad to a zone balancing problem, and they have accurately reported the issue and never tried to upsell me. Highly recommended!

Lloyds AC did an awesome job! They were very courteous, prompt, skilled at troubleshooting and diagnosing the exact issue. The problem was the fan control module. Two other well known companies diagnosed and quoted the fan control module and the fan motor which was twice as much. Thanks Lloyds for saving me $600 and bringing our AC system back online so quickly!

The company did work on our HVAC which failed inspection before we bought the house. We didn't know there was a failed inpsection on HVAC two years before buying the home. When trying to sell our house we reached out to them as we were told by the city it must be that contractor to fix the issue, which was Lloyds with the previous home owner. Lloyds said that the work was done under a previous license they had. There is now a permit issue with the city and the office manger has told us it’s not their problem, they won’t work on it and never called us back after they said they’d speak to the city permit people. We had used them since buying the house and was really disappointed in their attitude. I’d highly recommended avoiding this company.

I saw there response and wanted to add, the previous permit was done with the previous owner of the home. We had the home under contract and waited weeks to get any guidance from Lloyd's the manager literally did say it's not their problem and the city said it must be the contractor who pulled the permit which was Lloyd's with the previous owner of our home. Luckily, Joe at Rhem AC was able to go above and beyond and help us, which Lloyd's could have done but chose not too as its a annoying process. We ended up getting this house closed and moved to our new house, with 4 AC units that will be serviced by Rhem and with no thanks to Lloyds.

10/10 Perfect Service & Experience!!!! Lloyds is the ONLY company I will call for any AC issues going forward. Utmost respect for Wayne, a lead technician whom was patient and able to identify a complex issue with our Trane air handler. He came through on a busy Saturday, and was able to resolve by Sunday morning. No upsell or bullcrap. He spent the time to educate me and inform and we required no major parts. I appreciate the honesty. Great customer service! Thank you!!

I had an AC that was not cooling properly. It did not get below 79 degree and was running continuously to keep up. I contacted Lloyd Heating & Cooling which has been my go to AC contractor for all my rental units. Terry, the owner, came out himself to address the problem. It turned out the previous air handler installer did not set the fan setting properly. It was set at the lowest speed which caused the cool air not to circulate fully throughout the house. Terry also suspected there might be a tiny leak because freon was a bit low. However, the leak was so minute that he could not find it with his sniffer. He added freon and adjusted the fan speed and I could feel the whole house is cold again. Terry is excellent in what he does. He charges a reasonable rate and he absolutely does not upsell ever. He always looks for ways to save for his customers. Terry is someone I can trust will all my cooling and heating needs. Thanks Terry.
