DON'T SHOP AT THIS STORE. Customer be aware. I just spoke with Ace Customer Care and they were great. Sending me a $50 gift card for all my issues. They informed me that this location has multiple complaints and they are aware of poor guest service issues. The owner and the manager are related and they are just trying to keep their business afloat and making very poor choices about how to build sales. All they are concerned about is holding on to dollars and have absolutely no integrity or customer service mentally. This store has been on the decline for years and they do not listen to any advice from Corporate District Manager. Ace Customer Care was very informative and earned my faith in Ace and there desire to give excellent service and quality merchandise to the public. I will continue to support local Ace stores, but not this one. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU as a CUSTOMER. You are just a revenue stream.

We have shopped at this store for 20+ years. We really enjoyed their customer service and personal attention. And, when Ace has a sale flyer, they have some really great buys! However, this particular store has gone downhill. The customer service is not great, and they are clearly cutting costs, at the expense of the customer. Every time I ask them about an item that is in the Ace sale flyer, I get this robotic response: "Each store is independently owned, and we aren't participating in that sale." As if being independently owned is going to make the customer ok with not being able to obtain the sale items. Let me tell you...they aren't the least expensive, but we wanted to support smaller businesses. Although the Town & Country location is closer to me, I have taken my business to the location in Odessa. They have great service, and they DO participate in the sales!

I am a regular also have a membership! I feel like sometimes the customer service could be a bit final on the side of helping they are not good listeners not the dude with long hair or the manager are really good other times. Y do really find what I'm looking for everytime just I feel like the customer service could be more nicer.

Went to this Ace location this morning. Had to repair three broken window panes, able to get in and out of store in under 20 minutes with four (bought extra pane for breakage or to act as a repair piece in the future) expertly cut panes. No breakage while traveling home. All around great experience! Had I hired a professional window company, would have spent over $1,000. Spent under $100. Great work guys!

One of the best shopping experiences I ever had. Customer service rushed to me effective quick and friendly they employ even chased me down the road with a part I left behind. Best hardware store ever. Except maybe the one my grandmother ran when I was a kid

Excellent general store, better stocked, cleaner, all workers very attentive, educated, knowledgeable about their job. Very satisfied in general, I recommend it over the others from the same company, and over the competition it goes above the 5 stars rating. My opinion

I visited this store today in search of a way to repair my indoor spin bike. I had a clear idea of what would work but I was struggling to find the parts for my plan. Enter Kenshawn. He literally dropped the work he was doing to help me and even came up with a better vision. He was knowledgeable, funny, and beyond kind. I will be coming back to this location because of Shawn and the wonderful employees up front who were clearly excited and supportive of their stellar employee!

I don't know why people are complaining about this store? I am a minority and I have never had a problem. I have been shopping at this store for 18 YEAR'S. That's when I bought my house close to them. I would prefer to go there then home depot at Hillsborough and Memorial, try to find help at home depot? Good luck. If you ever have a problem there try to get Tony to help you, awesome guy and he knows what he is doing. He has been there for a long time and he is also a minority. This used to be a great hardware store years ago. I don't know if they sold it, or just have new management who has no conception of customer service or perhaps can't speak English. But I would not buy squat there.
This is the second time I called after seeing something on their website, and I had a question about it -- I wanted to ask before ordering it. It is a fairly straightforward question at that.
Well you can't do that. Because first, the person who is supposed to "know" and help customers is ALWAYS doing something else, like this time he was outside "painting" -- and my question was about painting. I doubt he was outside or doing anything at all, I think instead these folks have 1) no concept of customer service 2) can't speak English and think they can run a store in this country without learning English. It makes for a horrible experience. I will look elsewhere for what I need because who needs to be on hold -- twice -- and get this kind of grief.

I always love a good hardware store and Ave almost always comes through. Knowledgeable employees and easy to find them. Worth paying a tiny bit more and surprisingly enough sometimes less. This Ace is always awesome
