I went to Ace today for a few items and I was in the store maximum minutes. In that 5 minutes the manager on duty, larger man with mustache and buzz cut was verbally abusing his employees in the middle of the store with multiple customers one of whom which was right in front of him waiting to be helped. He was yelling about putting the correct items on the correct shelves with the correct prices. It was so absolutely unprofessional and mind blowing. As I was about to say a word or two to him my husband said don't bother he had been round and round with this same manager last year regarding items being placed with incorrect pricing tags under them. Clearly this guy can't manage his way put of a paper bag let alone managing actual people. Terrible experience and I will be sure this situation will be directed to the higher ups of Ace Hardware.

Great Family owned business with long term helpful, friendly emploees. I'd rather come here and maybe pay a penny or two more but you only need to buy what you need and not a pack of 10 or 20 extras.

ACE is really the place with the helpful hardware folks!!! Everytime I come in the store, I am greeted at the front of the store. Also, they always help me find all I need and take the time to explain and understand the project that I want to do. The prices are comparably reasonable with those in other big box stores. Sometimes, I prefer coming to ACE instead of a big box store because there is always someone eager to help me here (the same can't be said for other companies). You can return items that are in resaleable condition within a time frame, just remember to bring your receipt. The return sometimes has more steps and might take slightly longer than other places, but it gets the job done. I always come here for screws that I can't find anywhere else. They have a wide selection of metric and standard screws, bolts, fasteners, etc., at different lengths and diameter. Overall, I recomend other shoppers to try ACE Hardware for difficult to find items or help from their knowledgeable employees on your next project.

First and foremost the most pleasant Ace I have ever stepped into.
We were approached as soon as we walked in and asked if we needed assistance.
Maybe 10-15 minutes later we were asked by a different Ace team member if we had been helped and / or needed anything.
After about 30 minutes we actually needed some help and ran across one of the nicest people we have ever met in an Ace. Joseph was not only informative on products that were sold at Ace, but also how to apply them and which would work best and why!!
Wow what an amazing manager you have there.
We talked to Joseph for over 20 minutes. We asked where the best Cuban food in Tampa was...not only did he tell us, he wrote it down for us and gave us the address.
Did want to mention that the cashier was also amazing!! She did mention the rewards card and getting the app which we instantly did.
That’s a solid team member at the register, to all the gentlemen we talked to on the floor...especially Joseph!!!
Just let him know the “brother and sister” said hello and thank you!!

Ace truly is the place. I don't know and I don't care what their prices are compared to Home Depot or Lowes. The staff is Top Notch and ready to help you. When I go there I know I'm going to receive A1 service. I've had this opinion of Ace for over 30 years and they've never let me down.

They greet you as soon as you walk in and ask if they can help you find what your looking for.. very helpful and friendly. Found a fan balancing kit that home depot doesn't carry..

I live right down the street and have shopped here on a highly regular basis since 2008. The store is typically stocked with what I need, but I also know what they carry so I don't waste a trip for something they don't have. More often than not I experience pleasant employees, but I also feel highly pressured and offended when I can't browse without an employee hovering over me. I visit the store with a specific item in mind and can direct myself right to it, but some of the staff will not let me be. I am there on average two to four times per month and sometimes more...When will they understand that I know to ask for help when I need it...? I got short with an employee 3/12/17 after I lost patience with being followed, and he responded with "I'm just doing my job"....If this is how they are trained then management needs to adjust their training curriculum.

Very friendly staff also very helpful I don't know how to find the things I need for certain jobs but not only did they show me but also the helped me with product for the job with out trying to get me the most expensive product I saved a lot of money.look for Tony or Michelle when you walk in

I called looking for a specific lock for a mailbox , The person i spoke to ,Elvin i think was his name, said he had it, so i asked him again just to be sure, he said yes and even gave me a price,
After driving all the way across town it turns out they didn't have it , he apologized and said he was congested and misunderstood what i had asked, then walked away, like that's supposed to make thing right. Great customer service.
