My AC went out Wednesday and first thing Thursday morning they were ripping out the old AC unit and installing a new Trane. They were very professional and friendly and everything went forward without a hitch.

Purchased a brand new home 5 years ago. Comfort control was the A/C contractor whom the home builder selected to install HVAC, I have always used them to annual service my HVAC units.
This past April 2020 they came out to service my Unit. They refused to enter my home to change filters which is a part of the service That is paid for. So I changed those filters my self.
The condensation drain pan was not checked and had a clog in it which I had to take care of my self. The service tech never checked the drain pan nor did him seem to really care about my HVAC unit or if it was correctly functioning.
The biggest issue of all of this is when I hired another service company to come in and service my HVAC unit I being told the coils are leaking refrigerant and the coil will require replacement 1,800.00 plus labor. Which should be covered by the 10 year warranty, only issue is the installing dealer failed to register the unit at the time of installation (you have 90 days to do so). The installing dealer was Comfort control.
So I wanted to leave a zero rating because of all the issues caused by comfort controls lack of caring.
Furthermore when I did originally call comfort control for service call today at 9:05 AM the person the answers my call told me some one would be here today, then she called me back at 3:30 to tell me that they where not coming.

A Big Fat Zero! But, Google Review wont let me select Zero! Comfort Control of SLC gets a Zero from me! Be warned! If your air conditioner fails due to a failed thermostat and your air conditioner has ran out of its' warranty, rather than fix the theromostats for around $200-$250, they will attempt to sell you a new airconditioner for around $5000.00 (or) more! After speaking with my next door neighbor (who is in ac repair) which I should have done first, the CC of SLC Rep lefty my premises promising a call back with a better quote! Never Happened! My neighbor replaced my thermostat and I saved between $4800-$7800.00 THAT DAY!
