    We are very fortunate that we called Air Source One when we had a sudden emergency with our cooling system. Some one came right out and summed up the situation very professionally. They did the work ASAP and we didn't have to go for days without air conditioning! Beyond that the crew was very polite, knowledgeable and fast. I highly recommend this company. They know what they are doing and do it well.

    Bob, the Owner, was Wonderful! Since our AC went out in the evening, he was Kind enough to work us in to their schedule. We were actually the first appointment of the morning!

    The Technician called before he arrived, was On Time, Very Knowledgeable, Clean, and Considerate! End Result, the job was completed Successfully and we are Nice and Cool again! Thank GOD!

    I would Recommend them to Anyone who wants a Job Well Done!

    Bob was great to work with! Air Source1 is a professional company with affordable pricing. I researched the company and they have been in business since 2010. Our A/C unit was diagnosed with a blower and coil issue. We were given several alternatives to fix the problems. The mechanical issues were explained to us in detail. Bob was considerate in given us different price points based on our affordability. I was referred to Air Source 1 by a neighbor and I would refer this company and Bob! Very professional and helpful!!

    To say I am not happy is an understatement. I had a new system installed in May by Air Source 1 and it has run well until now. I just had Air Source 1 come out because I had condensation from the air handler unit dripping into the return chamber and running into the garage. Since it's a unit and I didn't want to void the warranty by doing anything to the unit, I called them to have it addressed. The technician removed the float switch and then the wall panel on the air handler. He found the drain line was plugged and cleared it. Then I
    was charged $95 for a repair call because they don't consider it part of the install, eventhough they took out all of the former exposed drain and installed a new float switch.

    Amazing, bleach in the old line once a year kept it clear. Now in 3 months of installing a new unit it backs up. Also, the new switch didn't stop the unit from running to indicate there was a problem so the repair is on me. Also there is no obvious way for me to prevent it from happening again in a few months that I can see without doing the same thing the technician did. My question, why wasn't the checked at install? If it was clear, then something has changed with the new unit.

    Let me be clear, this is not the technicians fault, he was courteous even though I was clearly not happy. This is just bad business with poor customer support on the part of the owner or managers and I will not recommend Air Source 1 again to anyone looking for service or an install. This suggest that if there is a way to not cover warranty work they will find it. This is not the way to keep a new customer or get additional business when there are plenty of good service and install options out there.

    To begin with, the day of our installation, our new a/c was dropped out of their truck onto our concrete driveway. Nothing was said or done to deal with it, it was installed anyway. Secondly, asking questions of the owner seemed to aggravate him, I had a question, I went out into the garage and told his assistant and he yelled to him in the driveway, and instead of coming into the garage to me, he yelled at me what did I want. I wasn't about to stand there yelling back and forth so I said I wanted to speak to him in the garage. He was very obviously aggravated and came into the garage and rudely addressed me like I was bothering him. It seemed like women folk questioning him wasn't okay with him, which was insulting to me. That was in February, now yesterday, I called with problems we've been having with with the unit, i.e. condensation dripping out of the plenum box, a strange noise in the unit when its fan comes on, and the a/c filters we were told to use (20" x 20" not fitting),and who ever the woman is who answers the phone downplayed every problem I was describing, which wasn't helpful. Then, she said she wouldn't be able to give me a time slot that day and would just have to call me the next day (today, 7/23/21) when someone would be here, but the entire day passed, no call, nobody showed up). This a/c wasn't free, we paid good money, and this poor service response is unacceptable. Let the buyer beware.

    Our air conditioner stopped working & Air Source 1 responded immediately. In just one day we had a totally new unit, at a reasonable price. Bob & Hitch did a great job! Would definitely recommend this company.

    Air Source One earns its name... They are definitely #1. They can repair anything.
    Bobby is so knowledgeable about so many things. His crew is very efficient and stays in communication with Bobby at all times.They come in a timely manner and never leave you waiting in an emergency. You receive excellent service at a reasonable price.
    They’re really a “one stop shopping”.
    We are A Touch of Brooklyn and use no one

    BUYER BEWARE! On 3/12/20 we hired Air Source 1 to perform a seasonal check on our unit. We were told everything was working fine at that time, which is why we found it odd that our thermostat stopped working correctly after their seasonal check. We waited a few weeks then decided to call them back out to take a look. On 3/31/20, the service tech came out again. This time they charged us $95 for a diagnostic test. Since they were just out recently, they gave us a $30 discount. I didn’t feel we should have been charged at all since we hired them recently for a preventative check and was told everything was fine. Nevertheless, I paid without dispute since clearly they needed the money given the impact of the covid-19 virus. Still the thermostat was not working correctly. On 4/3, the owner personally came to the house to check the system again. He made a few adjustments and told me it would be working fine. The thermostat was still reading 1-2 degrees off which was forcing my unit to run harder and longer to reach temperatures that were 1-2 degrees off from where I set it. At that point we decided to purchase a new thermostat. We installed it and and called air source 1 to come out again to check the installation. At this point we should have contacted another vendor; however, I assumed they would right the ship this time. However it is now clear they didn’t know how to help with our system. Still they came out. My husband had to coach the service tech thru every step to get the thermostat working. After about 7 minutes, if that, the service tech was finished, having completed what my husband was instructing. Then he proceeded to give us another $95 bill! I told the tech I wasn’t paying that much and wanted to speak to the owner. When I did, the owner was abrasive and disputed everything I said, which I’m sure he will do on here, and then he hung up on me. His wife called my husband about 15 minutes later and threatened to file a lien on our house, that day, if we didn’t pay. They certainly have used these tactics before. That was very obvious. Since I’m not a litigious person and it’s clear they need the money more than we do, I will agree to pay. Not because I believe I owe the money, but because I know small businesses are struggling in these times and it appears that is the case here given the behavior. So I will do my part to help these guys out and then take our business elsewhere. I do not recommend using this company at all. I deal with contractors regularly in my line of business and my overall experience was not only poor service but poor character.

    I would and will recommend Air Source 1 to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable A/C company! Bob is the BEST in his field!! Anytime we’ve had an issue with our air conditioning, either Bob or one of his technicians was there in a very reasonable amount of time and had everything fixed quickly and affordably.

    I am writing this review so nobody will go through what my mother and I had to using Air Source 1. My 84 year old mother used Air Source1 to replace her ac unit in Port St. Lucie. Once installation was complete we noticed the chimney shape duct which the air blows thru to the duct called the plenum was patched worked together. My mother asked about it and knew it wasn’t like the one she had but was told it was fine. Over the last two years panels of the piece together plenum have flapped open. One opening is the size of a legal letter size envelope and the other is flap is 4 x 6. When the ac comes on and those flaps are open all the air blows in that closet and not out to the ducts. My mother has called them at least three times if not more and the first time they came and taped it to what looks like papier-mâché on the plenum. It’s still continue to flap open and when she called again she was told it was to far for them to come out. They took the job but can’t service their own work. She called several times again and the wanted to charge her to tape it some more. I went over this weekend and saw it was once again open and called Air Source 1. I begrudgingly got an appointment from the women who answered the phone who continue to talk over me and tell me they had already fixed it. When the technician arrived we basically asked for them to replace the patch worked plenum with a new one that was constructed correctly. The owner wanted 100.00 to correct a job that was done incorrectly. Being that my 84 year old mother is on a budget I called to speak to the owner so I could pay it and get this over with once and for all. I introduce myself and told him of the piece of substandard job he did but was wanting to get this corrected and he began yelling into the phone and said he’s not wasting his time and money and she would have to pay. I asked him several times to please stop yelling and he just continued to berated me. I wanted to clarify that this was his issue but I wanted to resolve it for my mother but I couldn’t even get out that I was willing to pay. I asked him if this was how he handled all his customers and he said she was wasting his time. I realize then I would pay anyone ten times the amount then ever use him and I told him so and he hung up on me. I have never been spoken to so rudely. To think I was willing to pay to have him fix his mistake and to be yelled at. Don’t not waste you time or money with Air Source 1.
