I am a frequent visitor to Volusia County, now moving my healthcare consulting business here and recently purchased a home in Port Orange. Before selecting a HVAC company, I did my homework researched recommendations in Consumer Reports and talked with a good friend in New England in the HVAC industry. I called a three local companies with high ratings by the local Better Business Bureau.
When I called Ferran they connected me to the plumbing supervisor. Darwin was knowledgeable and cogent in providing information that helped me select the best A.O. Smith and American Standard hot water tank replacement product for my home. I was looking for the the highest performance over the longest durations. I also wanted a product that came with a ten year warrantee. This required an anode upgrade. I selected a residential A.O. Smith product. We had a few conversations regarding anode upgrades and to set up the installation. When Darwin was busy, he returned my calls in short order. He took the time to explain my best options. Darwin is a great asset to and outstanding representative for Ferran.
In advance of the scheduled installation, I received timely text messages from Ferran confirming the appointment and then the expected arrival time.
On installation day, I was very impressed with Steve, the Ferran master plumber sent to replace my 50 gallon hot water tank. Ferran invested in providing Steve with the latest high tech equipment, including a.$5000 pipe joint compression/crimping tool. That made Steve’s work flow more efficient, avoided the fire risks of using a blow torch to melt the solder and turned out a bright clean looking final product. Two new toilets were also installed properly with no mess to clean up. Just looking at the new hot water tank connection pipes screams this is what quality work looks like.
The great experience with your plumbing team is why I called Ferran to schedule an electrical installation to tie in a electric automobile charger (Tesla) to my main electrical panel. I received the same great service in scheduling (Toni) and texting me to confirm date, time and expected arrival time.
The master electrician, Jon, arrived on time. Jon was knowledgeable and worked quickly and efficiently, like he had done it a thousand times before. He efficiently ran the wire bundle down the inside of the wall and installed the unit securely to the sheetrock garage wall. Rather than use the wall screws that came with the Tesla kit, Jon elected to use toggle supported screws that made the wall installation more secure and long lasting; a welcomed upgrade. Jon took the time and effort to provide me with top tier quality workmanship. I felt like Jon treated my project like he was doing the installation for his family, only the best.
Being new to the area and asking around for suggestions, I heard it was difficult finding quality trade workers around here. If I hear those comments again and they want HVAC/plumbing or electrical quality work, I will tell them to call Ferran. I certainly will. Thank you!!

I’ve worked with Ferran for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and gas work for years and their service is always top notch. I had a water leak in the attic and they were punctual, polite and had it fixed the same day i called them. It’s difficult to find service organizations that hit the mark in every area, but Ferran does it right every time. I never call anyone else.

I’m very happy with Ferran! I got my ac replaced with them last year, with 1 year warranty. When I get issues, they’re very quick to stop by and take a look at the system. The ladies and gents working here are always very patient with me and extremely polite. They also go out of their way to show me what can be done to prevent the equipment failure in the future.

(This is not something we see as a necessity, but for those who hold that to great importance, it is worth mentioning.)

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONTACTING THIS COMPANY.
Our air conditioning has been out for three months. When it first went out we contacted the company to repair our geothermal air conditioning system. The representative represented that they have experts who service our type of system and that their service men are very familiar with repairing geothermal systems. Over the course of the three months we’ve had six+ repairman come to our home and none of them have had experience with our air conditioning system. We have already spent over $12000 to have 5 different men just sit and stand in front of our system and look at our system, play around with wires despite not having any knowledge or experience as to how to service a geothermal air conditioning system. It is clear that this company misrepresented their knowledge and expertise in the field they represented to have such knowledge and experience in. They spend so much money on billboards and marketing yet they don’t invested in management to inform their techs on the current process of the job. We’ve had numerous no shows it seems like they promise every Tuesday and then 50/50 chance anyone is going to show up. Don’t use a big over marketed company as you are paying for their billboards NOT quality repair. Hire a small company who can give you focused repair and knowledge. They will blame “we don’t have the parts” when they can be easily obtained online for a fraction of the price. Unfortunately since our system is all apart no one will pick up someone else’s mess so we are stuck with them if they ever actually do finish the job.
