I have been dealing with another two AC companies, but there was always something wrong after they left. Their customer service was typical for Miami, (rude with entitlement).
I don’t like to make reviews, however, POLLUX exceeded my expectations.
Carlos provided an excellent professional, I mean PROFESSIONAL service. Very detailed oriented. Lily was from another state! I mean, she didn’t have the typical Miami attitude. She is very kind and professional. This company is an example to the rest. Very happy I called them.
They should up a little earlier than scheduled. They were not ridiculously priced. Super fair price for showing up an hour after I called and at night. Leo was great, give him a raise!
This is by far the best company down here in South Florida. Leonardo is very knowledgeable and professional and gets the job done. You want quality service look no further. I had a new HVAC unit installed in one of my properties and a burnt out motor at another property replaced super fast.
Pollux instantly responded to my 8PM repair request and set me up with a next morning appointment. The repairman arrived early, quickly troubleshooted the problem, and the AC was working in an hour. I would definitely recommend and use them again.
I’ve had Pollux people come by and fix my problems before, but this time the tech was more problematic.
This is Miami. Not everyone speaks English and that’s fine. My floor guys don’t speak English. The roof guys, maybe one of them on the crew does. But the difference is, when they know there’s a communication gap, they say something. They don’t just sit there, face set in stone, as I try to speak to them the very first time, they say “no habla Ingles” or words to that effect.
We do just fine. The floor guy knows all my renovation plans de Julio hasta Enero. Toto de la cocina, nueva, pero en Enero. Ahora en la cocina? Nada. Cuanto dinero hodie?
And we communicate about what they’re going to do, and we are careful to make sure we understand, and it works. It doesn’t always work perfectly.
And when I describe the sound of intermittent running water all night long, and tell the office “it’s not a dripping or trickling sound: it’s like someone flushed the toilet, but it’s definitely from the AC, because it stops when I turn it off” and then they don’t give me any indication they understand it. They proceed to flush the condensate drain while I try to figure out what’s going on, and the office lectures me how the condensate drain could be the problem (which would imply hundreds of gallons of condensate moving under pressure, implausible at best).
And I’ll give them this: flushing the drain is trivial, i just don’t understand what’s going on and whether I’ve been understood is not.
This is not effective. As for the office, they don’t like my attitude about this. That’s fine.
Excellent service. The technician find the root cause of the noise in the pipes as result of the installation of the new HVAC a few days ago. They doing the medication, testing and hopefully we’re wishing everything going well from now with the new system.
Leonardo came within 24 hours, was SUPER NICE, professional, well informed and explained everything clearly to us. It was the best experience we’ve had and are making Pollux our permanent HVAC servicer. Highly recommend using their services.

This company is a white glove service from beginning to end. I cannot begin to explain how great they were. Leo was available on facetime first, and then came over for an estimate on my air handler replacement. He explained the different types of machines in the market, and gave me advice on what would be more appropriate long term for my condo. On the day of the replacement, Giovanni and his colleague showed up on time, always very attentive, polite, and with a big smile and disposition. A stark difference from the experience I had with another company. They stayed, on a Friday, until 8pm, to make sure the replacement was fully in order, including rewiring my unit to allow the heater to work. They vaccummed and cleaned the area as well. Honestly, I think I found a pot of gold here, when it comes to AC maintenance. Payment was made online, after the service was completed, with an online invoice and following receipt. Leo, Giovanni, Lily, and all the team are really top of the industry service. Will be using again, and already recommended to a friend needing an AC replacement. Good job, guys!
