Lies. Spoke w a technician was told that this is the slowest time of year. The next day to confirm appointment they wanted a prepayment.
I will not pay a thing until a technician shows at my home. I asked if non prepayment was an issue. Response =yes with all of their calls they prioritize people that pay up front.
Heck no!!

Paul was very knowledgeable and thorough in his inspection and repair. My unit is now running at peak performance. I absolutely recommend and will use Cooks again and highly recommend Paul for his expertise! Chris did an awesome job of servicing my heating unit as well! Top notch company!

I have to say that this company is amazing!! First of all, every employee that came out was extremely professional and knew what they were doing. I was extremely impressed with the service that they offered. This Ac company is highly recommended. My experience with this company was nothing but an amazing one and will be recommending it to all my family and friends.

Was one of, if not the, BEST technician I've dealt with. Craig was super polite and helpful. He showed me everything he was doing and taught me what to look for when a problem like leaking air handler happens. I will definitely recommend to other people. Was not an easy area to access, but he never complained!

Called on a saturday, They never showed. Call Sunday tech came out and told us the blower motor was shot. Wanted 593.00 to order a new one , none in stock. I told him i would look for another option. Next day I bought a 10 dollar capacitor, that fixed the problem. Tried telling us we should get a new AC system, ours in 10years old. Not Happy! Charged us, 149.00 to do nothing but lie to us. Being new to the area, We would not recommend them anyone.

Today was our first encounter with Cook's. We took a chance becuase the company we had been using for years (we will call them AHaA) had become increasingly less reliable and was unable to rectify our problem even though our breaker was tripping often for almost 10 months and even after multiple service appointments.
Craig was our technician from Cook's and he was friendly and professional. He made sure to have me witness the diagnostics he was doing and was able to determine that the compressors were struggling to start and were pulling too much power and that was tripping the breaker. Within 15 minutes of being at my house Craig diagnosed that one of the capacitors was faulty and that the start cap had a terminal that was completely burnt off. He had the parts on hand and after the repairs were complete he brought me back out so I could witness the repairs to the capacitor and compressor start kit. He then showed me the readings again and the were well under the rated LRA limits on the unit. He also shoed me the readings of each capacitor. This was the best interaction I have had with an HVAC technician since I moved to the state of Florida in 2007. My family is very happy with the service provided today. Thank you for solving our long standing problem in under 2 hours.

lol lol as I was calling them I read review number two that said they claim to be 24 hour service but no response. I was able to contact someone they put me on hold for a minute and then got back on the line to offer me an appointment two weeks from now I could help but chuckle to them on the phone and say no thanks I called because you advertise 24 hour service and your apparently don't the person replied that those emergency 24 hour slots fill up quick so that's why they could send someone with in 24hours ok folks believe that line if you want too... Good luck with Crooks opps I mean Cook's.
I got off the phone with them and next called Advantage Air Conditioning their on their way out they said about an hour they would be here.

The Cook's team did a great job replacing our old AC unit.The technicians took the time ensure that the job was done right.

Called at 7:30 pm on Sunday because the thermostat wasn’t working, promptly returned my call, gave fair expectations on time and arrived early exceeding my expectations! Quick repair and friendly employee. Will definitely call again.

I called Cooks to help repair my AC system at my house. The Technician, Bobby, arrived on-time, quickly diagnosed the problem, corrected it, taught me what the repair was and why it was necessary. Excellent service, customer for life.
