Quality Control Air of SWFL

Saw a flyer and called them for a 39.00 AC service checkup. Was told my garage AC unit wasn’t working right and needed a new circuit board and it should be under warranty. He said if I sign up for their annual contract (247.00) he could have someone out in a couple of days. I paid the 247.00 and like he said 2 days later another guy shows up, he says my AC unit was just short on coolant. Five minutes later I get a bill for 443.00 when asked why so much he stated the coolant and also some stop leak stuff that cost 277.00. He didn’t tell me ahead of time how much this would cost and when I looked it up on Amazon it cost 60.00. I asked what was the 247.00 I just paid two days ago, he said that’s just for them to come out and check my unit twice a year. I called the office not happy and after talking with them I paid the bill and they agreed to cancel my contract and reimburse me the 247.00. I had to open a dispute with my credit card because they never returned the money. Very shady company

Quality Control installed two AC systems for us and did so in a very professional manner at a reasonable cost. Since then they have maintained the system and are totally reliable. Our thermostat went out yesterday and Andrew, a tech at QC, stopped by and repaired the problem at 10 pm last night on his way home. This spared us a very hot and sleepless night. I recommend these folks 100%.

We have had their service for about three years. Very satisfied with them. Just had it done again today, Chase was the service person. He was the best! Very knowledgeable, friendly and did an awesome job!!!!

Great service, very professional, reasonable rates and best of all, their techs are extremely thorough and never try to up-sell you something you don't need. I signed up for a home maintenance plan last year. I was so pleased with their work/service that I signed up for two additional years. I highly recommend giving Quality Control Air of SWFL a try!

Scott was by today for our maintenance check up. Couldn’t ask for a better guy. Quality Air is the best company we’ve every dealt with when it comes to HVAC!

Had them for a two year contract. Second maintenance visit they told me that my install 5 years ago did not have proper Lindsey installed and my 10 year warranty would not be obligated due to difference.
Had them change Lindsey in may for a huge sum of money over 1600.00 dollars and was ok. When summer came, temps started to rise from unit less than 6 years old. Yesterday I had an ac failure and the tech sucked a boatload of water from my pan starting my outside unit when drained. He also stated that my coil in attick was leaking refrigerant and my whole system needed to be replaced?

After charging me 495.00 for added refrigerants my AC works correctly today, 91 outside, 75 inside!

500.00 dollars for adding the refrigerants they should have done originally? Need to replace a 6 year old unit? For a leak that does not exist?

Failure to properly maintain my unit!!

I WILL fix this issue in person or small claims court under contract if necessary!
Called today to speak to a supervisor and none available until tomorrow!

Quality control air has been great every time. They originally installed our AC unit years ago and we have continued the maintenance contract since. They are always professional, prompt and efficient with any required maintenance and repairs.

5 star rating for this company all the way. I ended up purchasing their maintenance agreement and it ended up paying for itself. My AC unit stopped working and they promptly came out and fixed my unit the next morning at no charge. Super nice people and fast service!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I received a flyer for a 17 point new customer A/C service. The technician called and tried to sell me a ultraviolet light, duct cleaning and informed me the thermostat was not working due to corroded batteries. He left my 84 year old dad with no A/C after I told him I would take care of the problem and declined the other services he was trying to sell. I called a different contractor to fix the problem, only to discover the previous technician had somehow destroyed the entire 24 volt system that controls the cycling of the equipment. It ended up costing my dad $820.00 to repair the damage and get the unit working again. The new contractor had to replace the relay, the contacts at the condenser, the fuse, the thermostat and 2 low voltage wires. This company, according to the other reviews , prays on elderly people and uses these flyers as a way to get into their homes and upsell all kinds of things that aren't needed. BEWARE. Today I had my 6 month service with Quality Air Control of SWFL. I continually get impressed with their customer service and knowledgeable service technicians. Today especially, I had Scott show up at my house to do a simple service. He was professional, knowledgeable and Meticulous! He was one of those most impressive technicians to every service my home. He was friendly Neat and thorough!
I happen to have my brother in law visiting from Arizona and he owns one of the largest sheet metal and AC companies in the west coast. He obviously is very knowledgeable in HVAC systems and was highly impressed with Scott’s knowledge and customer service. I would recommend Quality Air Control of SWFL to anyone looking for a fantastic AC company!
