Not happy with David Mason's A.C. I purchased a new Central 5 ton AC unit from David Mason. DavidMason Installation did not pass inspection by the county. I live in Fernandina Beach Florida. Inspector's name was Stan. He said that David Mason used the wrong quality materials that would be destroyed by outside elements. David Mason not only held a gun to my head, by saying he would only repair the job to pass inspection, if I paid him an additional $400.00 dollars! To top it off, I also had to pay for the inspection fee.

The Installation passed inspection, after David Mason begrudgingly did the repairs and paid him additional $400.00, though it was his fault and his hired men that did the Installation. My total cost was close to $5000.00

And I was left with a new AC unit that vibrates into my home and one bedroom can not be used, because vibrating too loud!

David Mason, never repaired the vibration as of today, months after Installation. He also refused to return my $400.00 overcharge, that is the same as stealing! I will have to take him to court. Once Mason, gets your monies he is done with you, if he has to do a repair that costs him money, though I have a one year free parts and labor.

Called Masons at 4pm on Saturday. My AC wasn't working. Dave Mason came by within 2 hours with a replacement fan.. Doesn't get better than that! Thanks for the great service Masons!

This company is dishonest and unprofessional! They installed a an AC unit that was totally different from what we agreed on. I showed them a quote from a competitor which showed the make, model and price and said if they would match it and could do it right away, the job was theirs. They installed a Comfortmaker unit instead of the Carrier I asked for. I was not aware of it until it was already installed! I made them aware I was not happy and they said they would get back to me. They never did. I sent an email about my complaint and they never replied. The unit they installed is a cheaper system the quote I gave them but they were still charging me the price of the other. I sent them a letter and a check for partial payment. That same day I received a text message when I arrived home from work that they were in the process of removing the system. I walked outside to find it already gone! No phone call, message or email beforehand!

We absolutely would hire this company for home or business! We had 2 units installed in our business and it cut our electric bill in half! Great communication, service and attention to detail. If you want the best company in town, hire Mason's Air Conditioning and Heat!! Best people in the business!

Unbelievable prompt and courteous service. AC went out on a steamy weekend and I was expecting a big "emergency response" expense. Instead, what I got was some guidance from Dave Mason on what to look for as the cause of the problem. I did what he told me to do (clogged drain pipe) and the fix was easy. He did not need to come by, I fixed it myself, following his directions. I tried to pay him for the ""advice call" but he rebuffed me and told me to call again when I had something more serious. Great guy, who knows how to keep his customers very happy. Jim Klauder

Mason's has always come through for us with our heating and AC needs! While I was away for a long weekend, Sean Smith replaced our faulty outside unit, and I came in to a cool house with both AC units set to a perfect temperature setting! All of the folks at Mason's have excelled at being caring and capable! We are so grateful to have them keeping our home comfortable!

I had a serious problem with the AC handler in our condo. The floor underneath the unit had serious water damage from the drip pan and needed repairing in order to fix the problem.
Sean, from Mason's, came by, diagnosed the problem, and set up a time to remove the unit. He waited until the floor was repaired and leveled, then came back and reinstalled the air handler. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really put my mind to rest. He also put the unit back in, better than before. What a wonderful experience during a stressful time. Always smiling, SEAN gets an A+ In my book!!!!!

I have used Mason's for the last 3 years. The techs are always friendly and knowledgeable. The last two times I needed service, the issues were small and they only performed the work that was needed. They have never tried to sell me more service than what was needed.

DO NOT GO. GO TO ARCTIC AIR INSTEAD. They’re a bunch of con artists and very unprofessional. I was quoted to replace a unit, and when they came to replace it, they installed a lesser quality unit. The quoted price was paid for and when they deemed it insufficient, instead of trying to work it out, they illegally trespassed into our gated community without permission and removed the unit in the middle of quarantine. They didn’t return the unit they replaced and when asked about it they said, “it’s in the junk yard. If you want it, come get it”. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. Highly unprofessional and horrible business practices.

We had a leak in our AC and water was everywhere. Within an hour of calling, David was out to look at our situation. He fixed it and explained to me what happened and how to prevent it moving forward. He was very kind and honest, we will definitely be using him again!
