Fabulous company, and team. Professional, polite and give you honest options and not favoring the most expensive route like some contractors. Have no hesitation recommending them - their response time and service is second to none.

I am a resident and home owner in Norwalk for many years and have discussed Hellas Air with neighbors and friends multiple times. Everyone has a similar opinion, they are a fraudulent company that tries to scam residents out of money. I personally have used them.twice.before learning this. Recently my Central AC u it broke down. I called them and scheduled a visit for next day. The technician showed up and did his diagnosis for about an hour. After that he came to us and said I have bad news. The compressor is toasted and since this unit is old it will need total replacement. He said he will be able to do it for about $7000. That evening I also decided to call another company. A technician came and found firing all mixed up. Fan wiring was connected to compressor wiring which burned the motor out. He replaced the fan motor and a capacitor for the compressor and everything fired right up. My AC now works as it always did and I did not have to.pay Hellas $7000. They sabotaged my system by wiring it wrong and frying the fan motor and then gave me a fake diagnosis so that I buy a new system. Scammers! I am actually planning on taking them to court in the next few months. Do you self a big favor and stay away.

5 years loyal customer of local family business and spent $ with open checkbook. Unfortunately service and communication deteriorated each year as did my patience. Good company but as with any large outifit expensive and depends who the tech is doing work at your home. My suggestion to family is they need to hug their customers post covid. All it takes is one bad experience and HVAC is very competitive industry.

They are simply the best. Had to retrofit an entire HVAC system into a remodel and you would never know the house once had a different system. Very creative solutions. Service excellent

Called last night for an emergency repair. I specifically mentioned that we have a baby in the house and it was really hot without A/C working. I was told someone would call me back within 1 hour. I got a text message from them the next day offering a repair service on the 29th of May which was 8 days away! So much for 24/7 emergency service.

I called the company and within 24 hours they came by to figure out what was wrong with everything but after getting paid $150 and saying they were gonna find the part / call whe found they never called back. I had to call them to see what the plan was, they told me they would be out the following morning first thing. Once again I called them that morning and they told me they couldn’t find the part. This is not a reliable service and we got another company to come out with the part / fix everything within 5 hours. We will not be recommending this company due to them taking money and never helping get my heat back on / terrible service from follow ups to promises not being kept.

John mechanic was prompt punctual and knowledgeable. Repair was done within the timeframe and price quoted I am very happy with the service.

We were searching for hvac service and cane across Hellas. They answered the phone professionally and answered all our questions and gave us a quote. They came quickly and efficiently completed the job for the quoted price. I will be using them from now on.
