I have used Hellas Air twice in the past 10 months to address issues with my AC/Heat Pump system installed by another vendor. The Hellas techs were extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, thorough and customer friendly. They immediately identified and resolved issues my previous vendor created and could not resolve. I would have saved myself a lot of money and distress had I called Hellas Air sooner.

I had a company come out to service our AC units on 3 separate occasions and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Hellas came out next day and was able to diagnose and fix the issue within 45 minutes. Great service and they know what they’re doing!

I have to say it is scary when something goes wrong with your heating system. You really never know what you are going to get with a company that you MUST reach out to in order to correct the prices. To make matters worse, our furnace (commercial space) is on top of a very unique and hard to get space. You really just have to hope for the best with a company. We have been burnt in the past so for me hiring a company to correct our heat being out was a very serious matter. I happened to see one of Hellas Air Temp Vans on the highway on my way into my business the day that I needed to address our heat issue. I just had this feeling this was the company to call. So in fact, I did just that. The person that answered my call was incredibly professional and kind. Right away I had a really good feeling. She got us right on the book for a trouble visit.
The tech ( Dave ) arrived right on time and was ready to go to address our issue. He was also very kind and a true professional. I felt at ease with this company as soon as he walked in. Long story short, I could not be more happy with this company. The honestly factor and not being taken advantage of is a HUGE deal for me. He addressed our issue and corrected it. I was not in anyway OVERCHARGED. This is something that i think happens a lot with vendors. NOT THIS COMPANY - THIS COMPANY is not one of those over chargers that are out there. They are TRUE professionals, smart and know what they are doing and you can trust that your service costs with them will be a true bill without fluff. They are the ONLY company we will work with for our needs. They also offer maintenance plans that we will for sure get set up for. SELECT THEM FOR YOUR NEEDS!!! You will be very happy with your decision!

Very pleased with the professionalism, tidiness, and conscientiousness of the technician. John even took extra time to help un-stick a panel that was painted shut accidentally, and didn’t tear the paint. (And refused a tip.) Thanks for the great service.

Hellas came out late Sunday night on an after hours call. Very satisfied by their response. Alex was the tech that came out. Alex made great recommendations to be able to cool the house down that night. And took lots of time to explain what he believed was the problem. Service was scheduled for the next day as the compressor was frozen and could not be immediately worked on. Monday’s appointment could not be kept as Hellas has put all it’s resources on a emergency call in NYC. I was very disappointed by this. However, they more than made up for this inconvenience the following day. They were now scheduled for 12:30 - 1:30pm but we’re able to dispatch a tech out at 10:30am. The tech that came out was Jon. He was in one word “Excellent.” He was able to diagnose and remedy the issue effortlessly. Jon went beyond my expectations in resolving my A/C problem. He took correcting the issue to the next level. He knows his stuff and even made very useful suggestions on a project that was in the works at this house. To sum this up. Go with Hellas for all your HVAC needs.

Hellas, did a great job to quickly remove, and replace an air duct in our basement. From estimation to completion, the guys were professional and great to work with. Shout out to Ourania for squeezing us in to an impossible time line before the holidays! Highly recommend!

I've been having Hellas maintaining our central air unit for a few years. They are very accommodating, on-time, calls to let you know where the service tech is before they arrive. The tech took off his shoes before entering our home. Through service and reasonable priced. I highly recommend them for home cooling and will be having them to perform our furnance maintenance on the fall.

I like the maintenance contract where they come out and service my systems 2x a year. They call to set up appointment in fall and spring.

Hellas helped me a few times after hours- nights and weekends - when I did not have any heat. I have an unusual boiler but they found the problem and fixed it.

I wouldn’t use anyone but Hellas for my HVAC needs. Family owned and operated is important to me. Hellas is responsive and comes the same day! Called this morning and a tech was at my house with a mask on within 2 hours. Pleasant and professional. Writing this from the comfort of my air conditioned home. Thanks Hellas!
