I was always hearing the name Highwood mechanical for HVAC services. It was great to already have a trusted name in mind when my boiler broke. I looked them up on Google, gave them a ring, spoke to the owner Ben and he scheduled my repair that week. Great service, and amazing customer service!

I got many quotes from different HVAC contractors for converting my furnace from Propane to Natural gas. Highwood gave me the best proposal in terms of cost and timeline and completed the work as promised. Highly recommended.

When I started looking for quotes to fix my hvac problem you came out quickly, took your time to consider a solution and then gave me a competitive quote. My wife and I were blown away by your charisma and knew you were a man of integrity. We found it difficult to consider other companies but we were very adultlike and looked for the best roi between the different quotes.

My household is grateful that you and your team were here today. They were professional, courteous, hardworking and mindful. And they didn't just appear that way, when you talk to anyone on your team they have an echo of your charisma and integrity.

I am amused I haven't even started talking about the work yet! You replaced the shoddy ductwork and also added a new AC unit. I knew my heat wasn't working great but now I know it wasn't really working at all. Winters were expensive with our furnace running constantly and failing to adequately heat the house. My family suffered because we didn't know that this old house could be made comfortable in a days work.

You discussed the work being performed in terms I could understand and I felt so comfortable that the job would be done right that I almost took a nap. All the work done is new, well constructed and is fitting for the household. You told me your team would clean up like you were never here and honestly it might be a little cleaner now than when you arrived.

If our old furnace decides to quit down the road, I won't be calling three different companies. I'll be calling Ben.

Ben and John were great. After my AC stopped working they came by quickly to diagnose/fix the problem. Everything was done fast and done well. I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done.

Say that not give someone who paid you $225 the run around. My central air unit was not functioning 2 men showed up as scheduled on time when they came they found out what the problem was and said that I would need to replace my units because it doesn’t make some to repair them.The guy that came states that he’s brother Ben is the one that does the replacements and that he would call me to set up a time to come see the units and give me a quote, I paid $225 for them to tell me I needed a replacement mind you I ended calling them they never called me, I had an appointment set up for a Friday between 2-3 and Ben never showed, I then called again and ask what happened and he said he called me to tell me that he got caught up at another job that which was a lie because I never received a call or text from him and its very odd how my phone some how didn’t receive only his call but everyone else’s that day. Still have yet to get a call back from them, very grimy and unprofessional. Would not recommend their services to anyone and it’s very funny how after I left a review on goggle just telling the truth of my experience,some how my phone number and voicemail work because I received a phone call and a voicemail from Ben after posting my review asking me to pull it down.

Ben came out to our home in West Haven to fix our HVAC system. He was very friendly and did a great job!

Ben and his crew take pride in their work leaving our new equipment install looking like a piece of modern art.
