All in all a great job. Installers of the heat pump were very professional and did an amazing job. Little issue I had was with my thermostat which was replaced but actually tends out to be far better than the one I had. Owner is very knowledgeable and explained the whole system to me. Price was the best as compared to other companies which was sometimes double. Plan is to stick with them for the long haul

My experience started when I first called. The person on the phone was very polite and professional. He noted and repeated back the details of my observations to make sure it was correct. They scheduled the date, asked for my time preference and confirmed both. Before getting off the phone, they went through typical pricing for the service portion so there would be no surprises on the day of service.
I received both a text and email confirmation. On the scheduled date, I received a text that my tech was en route along with his name. Again, very professional. He reiterated my issues and quickly went to work diagnosing the problem. He swapped out the part and we immediately had a functioning A/C system again. We wanted maintenance performed, so that was next. He cleaned the outside enclosure and checked the refrigerant levels. Since they were good, he checked and cleaned the components of the air handler inside. With maintenance completed, he reviewed details of the bill. Everything was in order, he thanked us for the business and wished me a good rest of the day. Did I say they were very professional? I would highly recommend SM to anyone in search of an HVAC service.

Jesus was a great tech. He diagnosed and fixed our complex problem quickly and efficiently.
He was nice and polite and wasn’t phased by our big dogs.

Hired SM Mechanical to replace my Carrier central air evaporator coil. It certainly wasn't cheap (what is these days?) but they were VERY responsive / communicative, professional, punctual and efficient up and down the line. That includes everybody who I dealt with - Sal (in the office) and both techs (Jesus who diagnosed the issue, then Jonathan who replaced the coil). Sal personally reached out and followed up initially, and was always very quick to call back. You get confirmation emails and texts at EVERY step of the process. What else could you ask for??? I'll definitely use SM mechanical going forward.

Phenomenal service at a great price! We have 2 AC units in our house that both broke at the same time. One was leaking and the other one's fan was moving, but there wasn't any cooling. We called our regular HVAC company and they couldn't get out here for almost a week. I looked on Google and found SM Mechanical and I am so glad I called them. It's no wonder their reviews are amazing.

Jesus came out within 24 hours to fix them both. He came after hours and was so friendly and knowledgeable. He had both units fixed within an hour and running smoothly.

After this excellent service, we will definitely continue to use SM Mechanical for all of our HVAC needs. I highly recommend them!

Excellent installation of high efficiency boiler. I am posting before and after photos. From start to finish, I have to say SM Mechanical exceeded my expectations. Alex was very responsive to providing a quote and answering all my myriad questions before the sale. The installation technicians, Angel and Angel, were fantastic. Their attention to detail was impressive. And they were so patient with me, answering all my questions in a friendly way. They represent SM Mechanical very well - their competency is impressive. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and would recommend SM for any service.

Derek and his guys were great. The install took a few more days than expected but but everything came out fine.

I moved to the area and signed up for a maintenance plan as a silver member. The membership is reasonably priced compared to competitors for the services provided and the perks of membership were a nice plus. At the time I had no idea I'd be using the perks so soon.

After our very first service, we found out that the 22yr old AC unit we inherited was leaking and they recommended replacing it. Again, we shopped around on pricing just in case and SM Mechanical come out as being a good value. Not the cheapest quote, but they provided better equipment and better labor which justified the difference. Everything went very smoothly and I have no complaints so far with any aspect of their service.

The only thing I have against them is I had to remind the salesman twice to apply my member discount on installing the new unit. If you work with them, I recommend double checking the bills to make sure member discounts are applied.
