Thank you for the prompt service in fixing our air conditioner. Dexter was polite and very professional in explaining our issue. We just completed a home improvement project and hired Shaffer Beacon Mechanical to install 3 - head ductless heat pumps. The technicians Tyler and Sal were great! We had Shaffer Beacon replace our furnace with a new one, plus add a heat pump for central air. The entire process from quote to installation was seamless, professional and timely. Austin, Dave and the install crew were great to work with. They were knowledgeable, walked us through the install and were very tidy. Very nice guys- our dogs approved. Thanks again Brent and team for getting us our new system up and running.

Called Shaffer Beacon to have a plumber install 3 new faucets for my bathrooms and check something on a toilet.
I was lucky to have Anthony on the job. He did a fine job, was neat, and so very polite. The toilet issue required an additional call to
re-adjust something. Anthony arrived at the scheduled time again and was polite and installed a new part. He said don’t hesitate to call again if this is not the fix. As you can see I will be requesting Anthony for future issues!

Had Will J. Come today to do an annual maintenance check up on my oil fired furnace. He was wonderful , patient and very helpful with questions and showing me what he was doing. I had my furnace replaced last year and I was curious on the differences. He was informative and thorough Would recommend him and hopefully will have back for next year’s cleaning

I recently had my furnace serviced. Jesse took the time to thoroughly complete the cleaning and explain ways my furnace could run more efficiently. He was professional, helpful and seemed to truly enjoy his work. I will continue to work with Shaffer Beacon in the future.

Had a good experience with Shaffer Beacon Mechanical. Had hot water issues plus heating system had other issues. Dean fixed it all up plus changed parts that needed to and got the system to work. Did an yearly maintenance as well. Will definitely use them for my heating system. Highly recommend them. Thank you Dean.

The crew at Shaffer Beacon was terrific. They have attended to my emergencies over the years, and just installed a new boiler. Todd and Jared were prompt, helpful, hardworking and kind! I can't say enough good things about them. The service manager, Scott was also professional, responsive and helpful. Everyone explained things clearly. The sales aspect of the transaction was also expertly handled by Nick. I am happy to continue working with Shaffer-Beacon.

my husband had passed away suddenly while we were living in Tn. I decided to sell our beautiful house in Tn and come back to our house in CT. In march when I got here the furnace would not turn on and it was a cold night.. so I go into my cellar to get something and there is water all over the cellar leaking from the expansion tank, so I called shaffer beacon and they sent someone right over. It seemed my husband had installed this thermosat that was complicated to set and he was able to set the thermosat so that it would kick on and stay on at 68 degrees. as for the water leak he said he could fix that now and it will cost quite a bit or we can send someone out monday morning.. i choose monday morning and for the next two days and nights my sister in law and i took turns emptying the container i could just fit under the expansion tank. had to empty the darn thing every forty five minutes. He came on monday and drained the system and change the tank plus had to change out a lot of fittings. I was so happy we now had heat and no more leaking pipes and tank. now that I know I am staying in ct for a while longer then i wanted to i am calling them to come and check the furnace every year to amke sure things are okay. wwhen my husband was a live and were living in this house he knew how to fix any and everything. But my wonderful man was taking from me too soon so I have to count on other people and Shaffer Beacon company are the ones I trust. told me what i could expect to pay and they were true to their words. plus they came out on Saturday night and showed me how to over ride the thermosat for the future. i am calling them today and making arrangements that they come out every year and service the furnace before it gets cold.
