My furnace chimney was billowing black smoke and I was referred to them by a friend. One of the owners (Brent) came out right away to assess and the next day Luis came and properly cleaned my furnace and flue pipe. My settings were off, incorrect nozzle installed and basically not cleaned properly. The technician (Luis) was professional and knowledgeable and explained thoroughly what he was doing to put my mind at ease. Highly recommend Shaffer Beacon especially Luis who did the dirty job!!

Came home from vacation and air conditioner was inoperative in the middle of a summer heat wave. Called SB and they had a service repairman at our house the next day to repair. He already had the part anticipating what the problem might be! Great people and response time. Two thumbs up!

Jesse did a great job servicing my burner. After he was finished, he described what he'd found and we had a good technical discussion about some things I need to take care of in the future. He was prompt, friendly and professional. Excellent job.

Luis was professional, on time & explained everything to me. He did a thorough furnace checkup and I would be happy to have him return for my furnace and A/C needs in the future.

We’ve been using Beacon for a handful of years! Dean was here recently for a tuneup and fixed an issue that would have destroyed our unit if left as is. Super friendly, very professional.

All the folks were responsive and went above and beyond, particularly when it was my 92 year old Mom's home and extremely cold out and no heat on a Saturday night! Mike came to the initial rescue, then Nick made it happen when it necessitated a new Heating system and Tyler and Dan did an awesome job installing. Did she pay more - probably, but everyone was responsive and thoughtful. Thanks to all!

I called Brent at the Shaffer company to obtain info on adding propane heat to our current central air system. We currently had Electric heat and was expensive however I was Leary of propane. Brent responded quickly and came out to review and went over the best options. After talking with him we decided to have the AC swapped out with a new one and add the Propane as well. It was only a couple days for the whole process to swap out and set up the new system the crew was great and polite.. They took care of everything from setting me up with propane company to the inspection process. I had a lot of questions as the process was going on and was always responded to in a very timely and professional manner. I would recommend the Shaffer company to anyone going forward.

Service good. Communication bad.
They showed up for service at 8:15 AM without any advance notification, much earlier than anticipated. Very awkward.

They said the borough would reach out to me to schedule an inspection.
I waited a whole week before finding that it was my responsibility to call the borough to schedule the inspection.

Now we have to wait another week before we can use our heat.
Very annoying.

Just spent $200 for nothing. Do not feel respected as a loyal customer. Why am I using them still?
