We are very happy that we went with Basset over the other options we explored! They were extremely prompt with our request and attentive to what we were wanting. We felt confident with the technicians and the install. It's been working great so far!

During this cold spell our heater stopped working. I panicked but there was no need. Within 24 hours Basset Heating had my new heater installed and running. The young men who came clearly knew what they were doing. They were very polite and just plain nice to have in my home. They explained to me what went on and in my opinion went above and beyond what I expected. So yes I will definitely be using this company again in the near future. Thank you again Tristian

Very professional and thorough from start to finish. I had to replace my furnace due to it not generating any heat and also being an old model; however, they were able to completely replace it the next day while I was away at work. I just left my front door unlocked and the technician called me when he arrived, when he left, and explained the whole process very clearly. There were no issues whatsoever and the furnace worked perfectly.

I also qualified for a 12 month, 0% interest installment plan for the furnace, which made it much less of a financial burden. Lastly, they helped schedule a city inspector for the following week to ensure the installation was up to standard. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing HVAC issues and I'll personally continue to use them in the future.

After another company refused to return my phone calls regarding the replacement of the water main shutoff in my house which was leaking, I went with Basset Heating & Air Conditioning. James was able to find the part that I requested and even had some recommendations that made sense that the other company didn't think of. Putting a ball valve before the inline water filter that the other company installed. That way, when I need to change the filter, I don't have to worry about draining the water from the lines in the entire house. Just between the filter and the main shutoff which are sitting right next to each other. I was also told by the other company that it would cost me over $12,000 to have water lines and some way to drain water from a utility tub in my basement. There is no running water or floor drains in the basement. We have a sump that is sealed off due to radon. When I asked if we could drain the water into the sump, I was told no because the pump wouldn't be able to handle it. When I brought this up to James, he said that the pump would more than handle the amount of water going down the drain and told me that I could do it myself. He was right. Bought the tub, a couple of short lengths of PVC, a couple of 90° elbows, and a hole saw. Re-sealed the area where I drilled the hole through the plexiglass for the PVC and done. (Contacted the company that installed the Radon system and they stated that this is fine.) I had Basset tap my PEX and run hot and cold water lines with on/off at the end and we were in business for WAY less than $12,000. Woke up the next morning and due to a manufacturer's defect, one of the compression fittings was leaking. James was out the next day to replace the fitting. NO LEAKS!! James is very courteous and very mindful of our uncaged parrots. He even offered to come down on his day off to replace the ball valve on the water main! Thank you James and thank you Basset Heating & Air Conditioning!

I requested a quote to replace an old and very tired A/C unit. Thomas reviewed my existing installation and made clear and concise recommendations. Having accepted their proposal, Lorenzo and Wyatt removed the old and installed the new unit promptly and efficiently. They were courteous, attentive and tolerant of my inquiries and concerns. Their workmanship was impeccable and they left the workspace clean and with no evidence of their having been on site. Overall I was very satisfied with Basset and their service. And I like Basset Hounds.

As an up date if you look they have a ten year warranty but because the owner didn't like my review they said they aren't coming back out. Another company here now and as suspected they are finding problem with Bassett's work so looks like since Mike chose to be unprofessional about this I may be taking them to court. All they had to do was honor their work and this could have been avoided. In response to your comment I have to say that I have a right to leave a negative review and if you don't like it then maybe you should reach out and try to fix the problem. I had to get window air since the air you installed didn't do anything upstairs. Yes you all came out but offered no solution and said there was nothing wrong with the airflow so we gave up. I now have another company involved and they do see a problem with the airflow that you all said didn't exist. You all have my phone if you want to disgus this. But I will not be bullied by you to give you a good review

We have been members with Bassett heating and cooling going on 2 years now. We have had the pleasure of working with several employees, and they were all great. Unfortunately, we have seen the plumber James quite a bit due to pvc pipes leaking, plastic tub leaking, and pipe around the toilet cracked. He is absolutely amazing, finds the issue, and fixes it quickly. They do everything from doing routine cleaning outs, furnace tune ups, air duct cleaning, and even replacing tubs. I can't say enough about this company, and I will continue being a member.

Every single person I interacted with from Basset was incredibly professional and competent. The technician for my first inspection, Thomas, was very polite and detail-oriented explaining what was wrong with the system. The lovely ladies at the office (Darlene and Ashley especially) were so incredibly pleasant and helpful setting everything up, and the technicians that actually did the installation, Tristan and Jordan, were very polite and efficient. I was kept in the loop on everything, they made sure there was no mess left behind when they finished, and the whole process was as stress-free as possible.

UPDATE: June 2023, needed my AC fixed during a heat wave. I got an appointment scheduled fast and easy, the technician (Christian) showed up perfectly on time and was very friendly and professional. He walked me through what he was working on to diagnose the issue and kept me informed the whole time. Very easy, pleasant experience overall and now my house is actually comfortable again.

There are a great many things to say about the service I got from Basset this past week and I would like to start from the beginning. I filled out the online appointment form and got an almost immediate reply and an appointment to come look at my furnace. It was a bit chilly and I got a note with a picture of the serviceman that would show up and a note stating when he would be here which is a great innovation.

Bobby showed up and went right to work diagnosing the problem and as he was cleaning the sensors we got to talking and I asked what was the usual lifetime on a furnace and he said usually around 15 years but they can last longer with repairs. Our furnace was over 20 years old and since we have been having a lot of trouble with it the last few years I asked about getting a new furnace. We made a deal right after he talked with his boss to make sure they had one that would match the heating requirements of our house and would fit where the old furnace was. He fixed the old furnace and it operated well enough until the new one could be installed early the next week.

Lorenzo and Chris came out on a cold and blustery Tuesday morning with the new furnace and after scoping out the old furnace and what they needed to do they began work. They were both very efficient and quick and also very careful to not make a mess which I appreciated and commented on and was told that it was just part of their service. They removed the old furnace and then replaced it with a new one making sure that everything was done perfectly. They then installed CO detectors to meet the current construction code and would have installed a new thermostat as well but I elected to keep my Nest thermostat. They they made a test run of the furnace to make sure everything worked as it should. It worked very well and is super quiet too.

The inspection was scheduled for the next day and when the inspector came by I took him to the basement to do his inspection. He was very thorough and commented on the high quality of the work Lorenzo and Chris had done on installing our furnace. He was very favorably impressed by their work and the note they left him to make sure that he knew they had sealed the inside as well as the outside of the furnace. He checked the CO detectors as well.

The Duct Cleaning was also just as professional and Brendan even showed up early after calling and asking if he could come by early. He was very thorough and talked me through everything that he was doing so I knew what was being done and how. An outstanding young man who loves what he is doing.
