They installed a new furnace for me recently and I was very happy. They came out promptly to give a free estimate, the tech that came out (Gus) was extremely knowledgeable and professional and talked about exactly how he would set up the furnace to give optimal performance for my house. I got estimates from 3 other companies and Controlling Systems was the most affordable as well. The furnace was installed promptly and with no issues, and works great! Highly recommend.

Everyone at Controlling Systems that I was in contact with was professional, friendly, reliable and responsive. I couldn't be happier with the end product. I had ductless heating and A/C installed in a great room addition and had a swamp cooler and baseboard heaters removed. My only regret is that I didn't have this done a long time ago.

Our whole house humidifier had stopped working. Ryan came over to repair it 1-1/2 days after we called to request service. He thoroughly assessed the situation, correctly identified the solution, implemented the solution carefully, then hung around for long enough to confirm that everything was working properly. Throughout he was both professional and friendly and quickly established our confidence in his knowledge base and ability.

Great experience! Gus came out to my house promptly to assess the property and provided several options/prices for my new furnace(s). Once I narrowed the options down to the best solution for my family, they were very quick in providing a detailed quote. Scheduling was easy and catered to my availability.

The furnace that needed to be replaced was located ~100+ ft. from the entrance to my crawlspace, further complicated with several duct and water lines. The three-member team from Controlling Systems removed the ancient furnace and installed the new unit without issue. They took the time to review the new unit with me; showing how it worked, what improvements they completed to the duct work, etc. Additionally, they inspected my other unit to ensure that is was functioning properly, at no extra charge.

Overall, a fantastic company that I would most certainly recommend. Punctual, polite, and professional.

We brought this company in for an estimate on a commercial water heater. After months of delay, they finally realized that they needed an inspection to do the work, and that required a master plumber on staff. Oops, no master plumber on staff - then why on earth are you selling services for which you don't even understand the requirements! Meanwhile we've been relying on the trust of our members that we are fixing the issue - but now are back at square one. Do not use this company unless you check up front that they are qualified to do the work.

We needed our furnace and AC serviced in order to proceed with selling our home.

I initially poke with Yessinia who was very polite and efficient getting the appointment set up.

Izzy was the technician who came out. He explained everything thoroughly, was extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I would absolutely suggest Controlling Systems for any HVAC needs! We will use them in the future- always good to find trustworthy companies in this line of work.

From the moment I called to set up my appointment to the in-person visit to winterize my swamp cooler, I received outstanding service. The technicians showed up on time, were totally respectful of our home, answered all my questions, and were very friendly. I thought the service was priced very fairly and that I got a great value.

I had a maintenance appt scheduled and COMPLETELY spaced it. Called to apologize b/c I wasn't home when the tech arrived. The woman answering the phone is SO NICE. Absolutely love her. No judgement, totally understood (hope the tech did too!). We rescheduled, Gus came and did his maintenance check and was right on time, super quick, efficient and I'm convinced Controlling Systems has a great work environment b/c everyone I've encountered has been just fantastic. Can't recommend these guys enough! :o)

I had my heater go out last week. I called Controlling Systems and the woman answering the phone was very kind and courteous. Was able to get someone to come between 2-4 pm. I got a text when the technician was en route and Ryan arrived at 2:10 pm. He was able to troubleshoot the problem and got it fixed quickly and it only cost me the service call. He was very professional, polite and explained the issue. Then the following week I came home and the house was 55 degrees. It had gone out again. I called Controlling Systems at 4:57 pm. I was afraid they were gone for the day and thought "Oh no. I may have to pay extra or something for after hours." But the same person answering the phone picked up. She was sending someone out . Ryan was on call so he arrived w/in the hour. Determined what needed to be done and fixed it without charge. My heater's been working like a charm ever since and its nice and toasty in my house. They are definitely my go to people for all things HVAC. Highly recommend them!

Controlling Systems installed a new furnace for us years ago, and everything went as smoothly as could be, so we hired them again to install a new air conditioner this week. They had to work with an extremely tight space under the house, and were originally going to give us a slot for standard a/c filters due to the tight fit. Due to the wildfire smoke, I requested that we have space for the larger filters, and they found a way to make it happen. I could hear them singing under the house all day long, despite it being a difficult and dirty job.

I rarely (read: never) leave reviews, but I am incredibly impressed by this company! We came home from vacation on New Years Day to a house with no heat, and CS came to our rescue. The customer service was excellent, the repair was prompt, and the price was fair! I will recommend this outfit to all my neighbors and friends. Thank you!!!
