Gus notified me he was on his way as promised. Arrived on time and immediately went to work flushing my tankless hot water heater system. He was thorough and described what he was doing and why. I will use this company in the future.

I called Controlling Systems because my heater was not working, and they were able to schedule an appointment with me within the same week of reaching out to them, before the holiday, and a day before a massive winter storm blew in. I received a text message on the day of my appointment letting me know they were on their way with a projected time; they were actually early. The HVAC rep was incredibly nice and professional. I felt bad, because my puppy kept wanting to get his attention and affection, but he loves dogs and would embrace my dog with the attention she was looking for. He went right to business and not only fixed the problem, but also let me know what I could do to maintain my system. I found Controlling Systems on Yelp, and chose them because they have great reviews, and now I can see why. I will not call anyone else in the future because when you find a good thing, you stick with it and Controlling Systems is top notch. Ten out of five stars.

Had an unusual cobbled together connection/filter between the air exchange and the actual furnace. The tech, Joseph, was friendly and great about getting it squared away and with recommendations on how to do a more comprehensive solution either myself, or if I wanted them to fab it with sheet metal for me. Would definitely use them again.

Controlling Systems installed a Mitsubishi heat pump system at my house. They did the installation quickly and efficiently. They’ve been responsive and great communicators throughout the process. The heat pump handled the super cold weather lately like a champ.

After I understood what to look for and obtain, I wanted a mini ductless system for one room, that is not connected to the rest of the ducted house. Controlling Systems sent a good rep to understand my needs, and the electrician and crew that came out for the installation were on time, good natured, and finished in half the time expected. They did a high quality A/C installation and took the time to be sure everything was done right. They even walked me through all the equipment to teach me how to do regular maintenance.

They installed a hyperheat mini split in an addition above our garage. This was new construction, so they ran the line set before drywall and finished up installation after drywall. The county inspector required hard pipe for the drain lines and they replaced the tubing quickly and without argument or extra charges, so we were able to move forward with the project.

After installation, they explained how the remotes work and were very clear about maintenance needed. The technicians were respectful and kind and they cleaned up everything before they left.

This is the third system we have purchased from Controlling Systems. Previously, we purchased a furnace for a rental property and a high efficiency furnace for our home (we wanted to purchase an AC from them last summer, but we found a better price for a more efficient unit elsewhere). Both those installations went smoothly too. Including a maintenance call on our home furnace that required a motor replacement within the warranty period. They replaced it without any difficulties on our part.

I would recommend them. They're the first company we go to for HVAC issues and needs and will continue to be. Thanks guys!
