Air Pros took over Wright’s and told us they would honor Wright’s warranties. Our warranty was not honored. They put in a new part and that part has a new warranty. They do not have a local address, the last we heard their phone center is in Florida. When the repair man came to our home, he was driving a Wright’s truck. He gave us his cell phone number for a contact, but it was out of service when we called. Several phone calls to the “manager” went unanswered. We are dissatisfied.
We purchased an 4,200.00 AC unit 5 years ago from Wright Total Indoor Comfort. Upon doing a furnace check last fall they discovered that the AC unit had flooded the electronics on the furnace and it was deemed unreliable so they replaced it with another 4,200.00 appliance. Then when doing the AC check this spring they determined that there was low refrigerant so they scheduled a leak check that was a 20 min job and costed 261.00. After finding the leak and determining it was a warranty repair job they charged us 678.00 to replace the faulty part which probably caused the furnace to be ruined. I called twice to see if they couldn't lower the replacement job price but no one ever returned my call. So I guess their work isn't really 100 % right or 100% free like advertised. Very unhappy with this company!!
On January 2019, we, the current home owner purchased a residential property. Wright Total Indoor Comfort is the same company that initially installed the original furnace. They are also the same company that inspected the furnace before it was sold to the current home owner, me. During the home inspection, they didn't not perform a thorough inspection and reported no furnace defects or any major issues. So, we bought the property with the assumption that the furnace was in good working condition.
In October 2019, we, the current home owner called Wright Total Indoor Comfort to inspect our furnace, because it was not heating. After multiple visits with at least 6 technicians from Wright Total Indoor Comfort coming into our home to perform an inspection, we finally agreed for Wright Total Indoor Comfort to install a new furnace. What the technicians discovered was that the furnace is inoperable in its current condition. The original furnace installation was installed incorrectly by Wright Total Indoor Comfort, thus causing the furnance to have a condensation buildup. Eventually damaging the furnance and preventing it from heating.
On October 24, 2019, two Wright Total Indoor Technicians came to install the NEW furnace and they were here at my house from 1000 AM to 700 PM. Before they left, they told us that our thermostat was not compatible with the furnace they installed. Now, we have to pay more money for them to install a new Nest Thermostate. The company failure to disclose this beforehand is a testament to the quality of their technicians. When the technicians left that same night, we found out that our water heater had no hot water.
On October 25, 2019, in the morning I had to boil hot water from my kitchen stove at 0700 AM so that my children, age 4 and 6 are cleaned and ready for school. For families with children, having both hot water and a working furnace are critical. I was not happy about this. I was even more upset later today when I got a call from the front desk, Tiffany, below.
On October 25, 2019, the front office personnel, Tiffany, called me. She said that Wright Total Indoor Comfort will not come out to complete their work and fix whatever mistakes their technicians made the night before on my water heater until we pay them for the other half of the invoice. We have already paid half of the bill up front prior to them installing the furnace. The total cost for the furnace was about $4,000 and we have already paid $2,000 up front. This is not small change. The is a great example of a company not taking responsibility of the careless work of their technicians or even sending qualified technicians.
I would not recommend this company to anyone due to the following issues:
1. Poor customer service 2. Poor or unqualified technicians 3. Poor management/scheduling of work 4. Failure of the company to take responsibility of the inspections performed by their company.
WOW... Outstanding service. I had tried a few other companies in town to service our heating unit. Almost everyone suggested that we not service the unit but we should replace it. When asked why, the answer was always Blah, Blah, Blah. Some technical reason. Interestingly not one of the companies we worked with offered the same reason for replacing. I asked the tech from the last company we had out and he indicated that they are supposed to try to replace first and repair second. We had Wright come out to take a look as a second opinion and the tech immediately told me that the unit was fine and should last for many more years as long as we continued to service and keep up with annual maintenance. Only honest answer we ever received. We have continued to have Wright service our furnace and when the day comes to replace, we will use Wright. Thanks for the honest work, that goes along way today.
I had an appointment to have a representative come out today, Saturday. They were to provide a price quote on installing an A/C system to my house. 15 minutes after the appointment time, I called to find out where my guy is at.
The answering service was very polite, and patched me through to the on call technician. The technician was the very opposite of polite. He acted like I was inconveniencing him, first. Second, he started in on a tirade about not making appointments in Saturday, what the prices would be, etc. I had to interrupt him to get a word in.
I told him that he needed to slow down and let me answer his questions. His response was to laugh at me. I hung up.
Never use this company. I had them out for preventive maintenance in October. They were supposed to have cleaned my heater. Then a week later my heater would try to light and then blow out. I called them and they sent technician that told me if they would have cleaned the first time I wouldn't have had the issue. I called the company and they refused to reimburse me.
Wright installed my air conditioning unit last July. There was a furnace already in the house that Nathan had installed. Nathan and Jeremy came back and did the air install. The area they had to work in was extremely small and they made it fit and even look like it had been there all along. They were very personable and informative, answered all of our questions confidently. They did their job with a smile on their faces and made sure we were satisfied with the job before they left. They left the job site spotless and even called a few days later to make sure everything was working to our liking.
The only reason it isn't a five star is that the office staff are incompetent. I made an appointment in September for October while I was on vacation, I was given a 1pm-5pm window.Nobody came and when I called they said my appointment was for the following week. Since my vacation is a set time I knew I hadn't made the mistake. I rescheduled for first call of the day November 22, 8:15-9:15am so I wouldn't have to have a 3-4 hour window. By 9am I called and the woman said I was scheduled for 9:30 and the tech was at his first call. I didn't cuss or anything though I was pissed at that point. I called back at 9:30 and the woman told me I was in the 9am-12pm window, I asked to speak to a manager.I had wasted 6 hours waiting due to the incompetence of the office staff. The manager, Shelby, was super kind and apologetic. She offered to discount the call and contacted the tech to get a more specific time. Jim was the tech and as always, he was awesome. Jim and Shelby made it right, I will use them again next year and hope they have better schedulers.
So Wright installed a new boiler system at our house 6 years ago. They said we would get annual reminders about drain and flush; never got em. If we turn on more than one heating zone, the system does not work; one zone might heat up, but not always. They have been out to our house, but no one seems to be able to know how to fix this. There is a ten year parts and labor warranty, so we don't want to try anyone else. Wright also engages in false advertising. They claim if it is not 100% right, it is 100% free; I guess this does not include " trip" charges. I cannot get a hold of the owner, as no one seems to want to divulge that information. We are freezing, and they claim also 27/7 for emergencies, but the tech on call does not work on boiler! Very frustrated.
I was able to get an appointment within a day after calling several other HVAC companies. The technician was Rusty and he arrived on time, was very courteous, professional and explained things as he went through the diagnostics. I would recommend Wright Total Indoor Comfort to anyone. Great service!
