Working with this company has been a nightmare. We wanted to replace our Mitsubishi mini split heat pumps. Nearly one year into this project only one of the two units is working. Getting the units in stock took a long time which was a Mitsubishi issue. But everything else has been Mitchell issues. They ordered the wrong replacement part when a part being assembled wouldn't work, which delayed getting this unit working property. Mitchell employs sub contractors that have to be scheduled out weeks ahead. Then they realize that they scheduled workers that don't do Mitsubishi units and need to reschedule with the right workers, pushing out the schedule again. They processed our final payment without our permission without our saying everything was working. We have finally had to hire another company to finish this project who, refreshingly, really seems to care. We aren't an annoyance to them.
We are a new build. The AC was not working. Once the technician came, he got it working but needed to put in a new thermostat, which needed to be ordered. It came in fairly quickly and once installed and working, the tech balanced the rooms registers. I have noticed yet if it made a difference but I’m very happy with the service provided. ❤️
I called this morning to schedule an appointment for routine maintenance for my AC and furnace. The appointment was actually scheduled for May 2 however, later, on that day they were able to get me in the same day. The tech that came out was very pleasant, professional, and very informative.
The guy that came out to do the repair was great. My problem lies with the young lady that I called the night before our heat went out and it was 1 degrees outside and she said there were no technicians available. She also really did not seem to care if we froze or not and was very inconsiderate. She was also rude and inconsiderate the next morning when I called and was making background gestures when I told her I did not have the name of the thermostat that we thought was the problem but found out it was an exhaust problem. I feel this lady needs more training on how to be professional, especially when working for such a big business as Mitchell heating. I felt she was inconsiderate and rude. The technician did fix the problem next day.
I called at 11 o’clock in the morning - they told me they were completely booked out for the day but squeezed me into their busy schedule anyway. The technician that showed up was Bill! Incredibly knowledgeable - very friendly and forthcoming with what was going on with my furnace. Explained thoroughly what he was checking and doing - found the problem after a thorough diagnostic. I would recommend these guys to anybody! Fast friendly and reliable!
The technician was very courteous and did a thorough job in inspecting our HVAC system. He was very knowledgeable in recommending a capacitor replacement and completed the job efficiently.
I had a service tech come out in December of 2022 to fix my AprilAire humidifier that Mitchell installed in 2019. The tech said it needed a part to fix it. I called repeatedly since then to inquire when it could be fixed. The response was always we didn’t get the part in yet. It’s now May 10, 2023 and still not fixed. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced!
