Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical

Our furnace pilot went out and we could not get it back on to save our lives. We called the company and they sent a guy out within the hour at a lower price than the other companies we had called. Paul called ahead and was here before he's scheduled time which we really appreciated! He was super knowledgeable and helpful with our ancient furnace. Unfortunately due to the age of our stuff, he was unable to find the parts we needed. Instead, he helped us fix what he could and gave us our options for the future. We will definitely be working with Paul and this company again!

I needed service and they were able to schedule quickly. They were timely and efficient and gave me all the details necessary to approve the job. And most of all their services were “affordable”, quality work at a good price. And both technicians were clearly knowledgeable and experienced as they have been in this trade for a long time.

Very nice representative came and checked my electrical fuse box for me. Explained in detail how I can upgrade for my older home and how to protect my electrical fuse box from future power surges. I liked his attitude, his knowledge of my problem with owning an older home, and his willingness to explain things to me. I decided to put in a surge protector first and save up for the bigger upgrades. Thanks and I would give them a five star rating for such a nice representative.

The original contractor promised our new boiler would be smaller than our old and neatly fitted into the closet so we could still use room in there for other items, he pointed out flaws in the work on our old boiler saying how the other company that we had work on it previously used crimping on the copper piping which he said was most likely of the cause of the leak that fried the computer and then continued to promise us affordable plumbing does not use that style, they have more reliable ways. In the end the boiler over hangs outside of the closet, it's way bigger than our old one, and all the new copper pipe was crimped on every fitting! The job had to be inspected and balanced two times, just for them to call us almost a year later telling us they never closed out our permit since the inspector never approved the work, a whole year they waited! Our new boiler and hot water heater work great, which they should after what we paid, but we did not like the salesman contractor who promised us everything that sounded nice to sweeten the deal and even promised that he would be back to watch the work get done himself, just for us to never see him again and everything turn out to be the opposite of what he said this company would do. It's close to con work, and we, as young homeowners felt like we were taken advantage of and lied to intentionally to get a quick sale.

Do not recommend this service.
Specialist came to my house, checked HVAC and recommended change Blower Motor(900$~), because he found evidence of leaking grease.
He didn't even take it off to double check.
I took it's off by myself and it's no leaks of grease there. Just dust...
Everything works fine in my house. They just tried to take more money. Paid for service 250$. Photos attached.

I have used affordable plumbing for 16 years now. Would not go anywhere else. Matthew was by far the best tech I have ever had! He was thorough, professional, very friendly, and did amazing follow up. A rare commodity in today’s world.

The technician and team on the phone were both very nice and informative on the phone and in person.
I needed my water heater permitted and the PVC replaced and a few other things on the water heater replaced. They quoted 4,000 dollars higher than the two other quotes I received. The markup for the work they were going to do was insane and disrespectful to their possible customers. Make sure to get multiple quotes is all I have to say.

Just want to start off with how quick they are to come out and check everything out. I called and the next day I had someone out here fixing everything for me. I had lead electrician Giovanni and he was amazing. He was super friendly and helpful with teaching me things that I didn’t know.

From the initial call to the estimate/inspection down to the repair/installation employees/workers, they were all amazing!! Professional, friendly and very understanding of being in a position of having to replace more than one major appliance and how taxing and stressful it can be both financially as well as emotionally…especially in times like these. I would use Affordable Plumbing again and highly recommend them to anyone!! Great bunch of people working here and it’s nice to know there is still good, honest and caring companies still out there. Had a toilet that needed replacing, and did not have the time to try to do it ourselves. Affordable P&H had someone out within a few business days, and had the job done before lunch. Ask about their veterans discount, save yourself 5%.
