Neal's Mechanical

Called to schedule routine furnace service last week. My husband met him for the appointment while I was working. Neal, the owner, told my husband that he didn't need to watch him work or follow him through the house. My husband told him he absolutely would watch him while he was in our house.
Apparently Neal left at that point because I got a call from Neal 5 minutes after our appointment time saying he doesn't work under supervision and he was DONE and hung up on me.
I don't know what kind of clients don't keep an eye on strangers doing work in their home, but we are not one of them.

Do not hire this man.
At first things seemed fine called to say running late.
Showed up and greeted.
Recommended the cheep paper thin air filters.
Ran out to truck grabbed 2 air filters, one was the wrong size will not fit at all.
Mentioned he doesn't need help, when I was watching what he was doing.
Said no really I don't need supervision.
I replied well I'm going to be here.
He stormed out and left without saying anything.
Called my wife saying he can't work under these conditions.
Get used to it. even if you are the best mechanic there is its good to watch and learn. No I wasn't being micromanaging or standing super close. I was 6' feet away having normal conversations with any legit business man.
