Ductless Plus HVAC System

Jared and his team did a fantastic job installing a mini-split heat pump in our old home to replace a furnace that was barely hanging on (30+ years old). Ductless Plus came highly recommended by a family member who was familiar with their great work and skill. As a new homeowner, I had a lot of questions and Jared answered each of them patiently and knowledgeably before we got started and throughout construction. Jared and his team figured out a clever solution to route 3 units through the attic and they are all working like a charm - just in time for this 15* weather! His team was on time, efficient, clean, and very responsive. Install was even wrapped a day earlier than expected, and I am thrilled that I will never have to go into the crawl space again to change a furnace filter. Highly recommend!

Jared is a HVAC guru. He rebuilt our mechanical room and we are thrilled with the high efficiency AC and furnace he installed. Jared explained every step of what he was doing with the system in our house. He and Michael were a delightful team. I would definitely recommend!

Jared and the Ductless Plus team did an outstanding job on the installation of our Multi Zone System in two bedrooms of our home. The Multi-Zone system was so good that I had them come back and install a Single Zone system in our main floor Living Room and WOW what a difference. The Excel rebates were icing on the cake. The installs were quick, clean (using clean zone to mask off the area where they worked so dust did not filter all over the house) and the best job we have experienced of all the contractors we have used. My existing mechanical system was poorly designed. Several areas had different temperatures and my home was very uncomfortable. After extensive list of contractors, we found a very professional company called Ductless Plus. Jared came out and consulted with us and we ended up buying a ductless, ceiling, cassette system from Mitsubishi and we LOVE it! No longer do we have any problems with the heating and cooling system in our home. I can't thank you enough and we can now enjoy our home in total comfort!

Jared and Don installed a mini split heat pump as addtl. heating option for our living area. We have been using a woodstove in the past, so this addition is a huge convenience!

Jared and his crew at Ductless Plus installed a 4 unit multi zone mini split system in our 100+ year old house, and we couldn't be happier. Starting from the initial walkthrough they stood out from the rest, Jared explained everything to me in detail and worked with me on a super clean design for the system, one that they executed on perfectly. 3 of the units are ceiling mounted units that they integrated beautifully despite our 100 year old plaster ceilings. Very professional crew and they definitely know their stuff. If you want it done right and with a super clean result, these are your guys.

Also a plug for the equipment, the system they install can both cool and heat, even in subzero temperatures. It is whisper quiet and energy efficient as well.

With the summer fast approaching, we were concerned that our current 5 ton A/C unit would once again not adequately cool our home, particularly the master bedroom. Our upstairs bedrooms never would be properly heated in the winter nor cooled in the summer. We contacted 5 vendors, 3 carrying Mitsubishi mini split systems and 2 carrying Daiken systems. The Mitsubishi mini split system came in a little more expensive than the Daiken system. However, when comparing the system components, it is my opinion that the Mitsubishi system was superior.

After deciding that the Mitsubishi mini split was the way to go, we compared vendors and Jared and Ductless Plus were clearly at the top of our list. It was apparent that Ductless Plus installed many of the sort of system needed for my home and were truly mini split system experts. They built my system using actual measurements of the rooms versus eyeball estimates. Their bid came in very competitively priced with the other venders, however, the system components they proposed were far superior to the other vendors and thus a better value.

The Ductless Plus installation team was outstanding. They were the best crew of HVAC contractors that I have had the opportunity to do work at my home. They were always on time, organized, efficient, knowledgeable, clean and neat and very personable. They installed an MXZSM48 Smart outside multi unit with 4 one way ceiling cassettes indoor units for each of the 4 bedrooms. The installs were done in a thoughtful manner and not just slapped up on the ceiling in a random location where it would be easiest to install. The install of the ceiling units were precisely measured and placed to be symetrical in the room while also taking into account the optimum location for cooling and heating. The Jeffco electrical and mechanical inspections all passed the first time with no issues.

Most importantly, the A/C system works as advertised. It easily cools each of the bedrooms and we only have used our 5 ton unit for the rest of the downstairs for a couple of hours so far.

I thought installing a mini-split system in our older home would be impossible without a lot of exterior surface pipes protruding across the outside of the house. The Ductless Plus team installed everything (ceiling cassettes, lines, drains, etc) inside our short attic spaces... amazing! We were pleased with the crew the entire time and their work was excellent. We installed the system to enjoy air conditioning for the first time in 30 years but with a November install, we are enjoying the quiet comfortable heat, too. We got several bids for this work and Jared's knowledge, willingness to listen to us, and his great ideas convinced us they were perfect for us. We made a good choice. They are the best. - David

The 5-star reviews are well-deserved. These guys are great! We researched heating and cooling options to supplement the central HVAC system for our home built in 1904 that just doesn’t have enough ducts to fully heat and cool our home. Jared came out and educated us on the systems, their applications, and helped create a project plan for our home. Jared was exceptionally patient and informative guiding us through the process. We always felt that he was suggesting cost-effective solutions that would avoid overspending.

His team is just as great. When the project began, the installer team was clean and organized. Jared came back after the project to make sure we felt comfortable with the new technology and to answer any questions.
